Enjoyed the food at Chuck and Blade. Had never visited before so was a kid in a sweetshop reading the menu. All the food we had was great, although chips felt cold. Milkshakes were amazing!

Went here when it wasn’t busy at all, only our table and 2 others, the service was so slow. We sat there for 40 mins before anyone took our order. Food took a long time to arrive and when it did it was cold. I had the plant based burger and it was overcooked and dry. Plus more expensive than the meat comparison on the menu which is just silly.The only thing that saved this meal was the halloumi strips which were delicious. Too expensive for what it is though. I won’t be going back.

Really wanted to enjoy this, especially spending £60. Ordered online for collection. Arrived early, didn’t mind waiting. Watched as my order was put together in front of me which I didn’t realise it was mine until after 10 mins of it sitting getting cold it was handed to me. Burgers were cold, congealed cheese and cold chips. The restaurant needs someone to manage the orders. It wasn’t busy it’s just badly organised. Staff were friendly but just didn’t have that sense of awareness. As to the burgers, they were ok but very salty. I didn’t enjoy it and really regret wasting £60.

First visit. Delicious food. Impressed. My first experience of the 'smash patty' style burger. Enjoyed it more than I expected to. Beef brisket with the burger was next level comfort food! Will return. Already looking forward to it..

Unfortunately not a great experience for our first visit. Walked in to order a take away and sat watching the kitchen throughout the entire time. When our order was ready it was put on the pass on trays rather than take away packaging. Our truffle fries were then tipped into the box with the bacon and sauce going to the bottom, not ideal. My partners chicken burger was not freshly cooked and tasted like it had been fried hours before, it was very chewy and cold. My cheese burger was nice but missing the pickles that I paid extra for and the garlic may dip I asked for turned out to be ordinary mayo.However, the young lady that served me when I walked in was kind and welcoming, unfortunately during my time watching the kitchen staff whilst waiting a lack of attention seemed to be the issue.
