I was looking for something to eat, staying away from the usual chips. I decided to try this place and i had the spaghetti with pesto nothing else... I was very surprised that it cost £16.00... I had just water ?... I must say the food was amazing but costing that much... hmmmm thanks all the same..

Dirtee Feast, absolutely no complaints, probably best food we have had in a long time, excellent food, excellent atmosphere, top service… top man in the kitchen done himself proud. 10/10

Aysan Kebab & Pizza House

Popped in very last minute at 11:45pm after placing an order online at around 11:30pm, and I was really impressed with how quick everything was. The order was ready within minutes, despite how late it was, and the food was amazing. Fresh, tasty, and exactly what I was after.

Really appreciate the service, cheers guys. I’ll definitely be back!

Coastal Bar

Absolutely brilliant atmosphere and service been to a few brunches now and they have been some of our best nights out and we've done a few but coastal is up there as one of the best highly recommend ?

Really impressed. Used to be The Goose, and now so much better. Our waiter, Callum, was friendly and polite. Super service, super food, support value. highly recommend.

JAH JAH Ramsgate

I thought this would be too much to eat - a lovely huge portion of Brown Stew Chicken. However it tasted so amazing I found myself eating every bit of it. Very lovely staff and fantastic tunes too.

Golden Fish Bar

We stopped in on our way home after a long day and decided to treat ourselves to fish and chips — and we’re so glad we did. The food was absolutely fantastic; we enjoyed every single mouthful.
The service was equally impressive. The young team members who served us were friendly, attentive, and genuinely couldn’t have done more to help.
We’ll definitely be returning.

Chuck and Blade Burgers

We came in for a quick bite and a shake. Delicious, thick shake, plenty of space, and friendly polite staff. We had the Biscoff shake and the cheesy loaded tots and it really hit the spot. We visited at a quiet time and service was lightning fast.

Mexi-Go

Me and my friend went, we got the free nachos while we waited- which were 10/10 btw!
Then had the bbq chicken fries between us which was definitely big enough for both of us.
I love it here, definitely worth a try ??

Royal Fish Bar "Ozy's"

Super-friendly service, great humour, lovingly cooked cod and chips. A short walk up the hill to the a grassy park where could look out to see while scoffing our greasies! Thanks for looking after us!

Flavours by Kumar

First time ordering from Flavours by Kumar through just eat. Was given a 45 minute time frame for delivery, food turned up within 15/20 minutes. Piping hot, tastes very fresh, good portions. Overall very happy. Will be ordering from here again.

Mr Chips

Just ordered a takeaway at Mr. Chips and although all items were perfect had an extra order of curry sauce and a gherkin all paid for. Got home and no gherkin.
Three girls behind counter only had one job! Wasn't busy at the time. ?

Been here a few times,food is top class,outstanding value and nicely priced.Scarlet,steven and staff are all very chatty,polite,great customer service and lovely outside area for the kids to play and have great evenings there whether its bingo,pool or just a great nite out theme nites are also great.I highly recommend this pub.WELL DONE ALL.

ASK Italian

We were served by a lovely lady bex. We have to say we eat our regularly and we found bed has been by far the best person we’ve been served by from many restaurants. She was so welcoming and checked on us regularly. She was fun and explained the mini to us well when we couldn’t decide. So nice to have a server that actually does the job spot on a credit to your restaurant.

Me and my partner came tonight for Valentine’s and honestly it was a lovely experience. Food was amazing and reasonably priced and we even got given a rose to take home ? we definitely will be back again! Thank you for such a lovely experience

Best Kebab Fried Chicken Pizza House

When I went in I was unsure as to what to get as I was trying to feed four of us for as little amount of money as possible. Unlike in Margate where every takeout food place has meal deals, for some reason Ramsgate doesn't, so individually pricing it would have cost me a packet. However, the owner did me a GREAT deal and I ended up feeding all four of us with a generous meal each for a total of £17! I almost wanted to get out of there as fast as possible before he realised how much of a discount he had given me!! Food was delicious. All freshly cooked to perfection and hot. I would definately recommend this establishment to anybody.

The Curry House

The best curry in Ramsgate! Always so tasty, piping hot & big portions. Ordered a garlic naan and was forgotten but was delivered fresh & hot within 15 minutes. Couldn’t fault the place! Highly recommend.

Was sceptical to order from here due to not liking change but this was the nicest Chinese I have ever had. I got the mixed platter for two and it came with more items then the usual Chinese. Everything was hot despite coming to Ramsgate

I’ve ordered from St Lawrence Tandoori in Ramsgate a number of times now, and it has never disappointed. The food is consistently very good—full of flavour, well-cooked, and always enjoyable. DouDou Chinese takeaway

I ordered to collect from the website, I got tom yum soup with boiled rice, ribs and chips with curry sauce.
I have only eaten the Tom yum soup, because when I started I just couldn’t stop. Not long come back from Thailand and I’ve been looking for a fragrant, non-oily Tom yum that doesn’t cost a bomb and doudou delivered for sure. £4.50!!
The service left a lot to be desired, but I don’t care too much tbh

Shelly attended to my mother and me. She has attended to us on several occasions previously and is always courteous and cheerful. The woman is elegant, and the cuisine is great. I will return shortly.

I recently visited STB, and I have to say — it was one of the best pizza experiences I’ve ever had! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the toppings were fresh and full of flavor, and the cheese melted beautifully. You can really taste the quality in every bite.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick even during a busy time. The atmosphere was cozy and clean, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your meal.

I highly recommend STB to anyone who loves authentic, delicious pizza. Whether you dine in, take out, or order delivery, you won’t be disappointed! ??

I would’ve put a 1/2 star for the food but Gina and Ryan were amazing and Ryan goes above and beyond in the sense of interacting with customers making them feel welcome etc I used to visit all the time so I like to think it’s a one of for the food as service made me want to go back it’s just ashame the experience we had today

Spice Fusion

Haven’t had food here since a Christmas works do a few years back and I’m glad I had it again after all this time, still serving lovely food even when delivered.

Top notch, ordered 2 of the set meals for me and my partner. Both had a pick of Starter, curry, side, salad, sauces. The onion bhajis and samosas were awesome. A lot of restaurants serve them really oily but these were spot on. The madras had a lovely level of spice. Wasn’t expecting a piece of coal inside the keema naan packaging but did no harm to the food it was just sat on top.

The saag paneer was really nice, very sweet and helpful to cool down a spicy pallet. The mixed kebab starter was very tender and full of flavour. Me and my partner will definitely be eating here again.

I like ordering direct through the restaurant as the guys are solid and even threw in an extra couple of poppadoms. Best £50 I’ve spent on a takeaway in a very long time, thank you very much.

Ruby was so polite and offered amazing service throughout our experience. She was exceptionally helpful and made our overall time so much better than the last. The family and I will be there so much more often thanks to this experience

Best ribs in Thanet . Always plenty of meat on them and very tasty . The chicken was juicy and tender . Food came 15 mins early .

M & M Kebab Shop

The Hovelling Boat Inn

Another magic little micro pub.
Great beer and a chatty bunch of customers. Spent a very liquid couple of hours here. Beer was well priced as well as many and varied.

Well re commended to the real.beer drinker.

Sir Stanley Gray - Thorley Taverns

Perched on the edge of Pegwell Bay, the Sir Stanley Grey has wonderful sweeping views over the Sandwich & Pegwell national nature reserve and out into the Ramsgate channel.
It's a good place to break your journey, for a drink and some decent food, if you're enjoying a coastal walk or bike ride.
On a sunny day sit on the balcony and enjoy the view, but at high season it can get busy.
The hotel opposite provides free parking, and there's step-free access to the restaurant for wheelchairs and prams. Dogs are allowed in the bar, inside and out (but not the restaurant side).
There's even a lift to a function room below which I've seen people book for weddings and such.

The York Arms

Nice little pub. Cash only which keeps prices resenably low like £4.20 a pint. Good atmosphere when a few people are in. Nice friendly bar staff also. Basic but clean plub. Has pool table, darts and juke box which is used regularly and two big screens

Royal Harbour Brasserie

Fabulous food in this quirky restaurant at the end of the pier. There are not many things I have tasted that have been better than the Baked Halibut in Lobster Sauce - it was unbelievable. Smoked Fish Platter excellent quality too and all very good value. We would highly recommend a visit - the day we went there were 40 mile an hour winds up against us but it was worth the effort to get there.

Tim Hortons

Very friendly approachable staff with a genuine feel of love for their jobs. It showed in the service and the experience. Food is hot delicious and well constructed and was also recommended a yummy drink (only my partner likes coffee) definitely returning. Shout out to Rose behind the counter and the gentleman manning the tables (forgot your name sorry) who was met with glee from my child every time he approached to check in on us.

Bedford Inn

We came to the Bedford Inn for drinks and ended up ordering food. The food was delicious and freshly cooked. The burgers were the best burgers we had had. The beer garden is lovely and so were the staff. Highly recommended. Family friendly with a huge sand pit with buckets and spades. Also dog friendly.

Shakey Shakey Fish Bar

Loved this place. Incredible value, great chips and crisp batter on the cod and haddock. It was recommended by family and we’d definitely return. Staff were very friendly too. Next time the battered Oreos!

Marc-Pierre's Kitchen

The freshness of the seafood has lived up to their reputation. Everything was incredibly fresh and tasty! For starters we shared Camembert and fresh scallops, the scallops were cooked perfectly. The anchovies added the saltiness kick and the salad was very fresh. Mains I got the halibut, which was a generous portion of fish, little surprise under the crispy fried fish skin to give the halibut an extra kick of flavour. Our little one absolutely demolished the calamari, when the menu says melt in the mouth it does exactly that! Our little one had to stop us stealing bites from her plate lol. Finally my wife got the fresh mussels in a Thai inspired sauce and it was also very tasty. You can’t go wrong with large juicy mussels like this.

Service was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy fresh, expertly prepared seafood! The food quality and service more than justifies the price in my books!

The Racing Greyhound

Went here with my walking group. Very nice meal generous portion of veg and came round with seconds and one gentleman got extra custard. At the Thanet indoor bowls club got about ten peas and greasy parsnips. That tops that.

The Pub Ramsgate

My favourite pub in Ramsgate. Friendly community pub with great beers and drinks served by people who care about the customer experience and the products they sell.

The St Lawrence Tavern

Such a friendly pub been in a few times the last few weeks and made to feel so welcome Charlotte and all the girls are so helpful and there's more TVs in here to watch than curry's!

The Northwood Club & Restaurant

First visit in many years. As we have moved back into the area.
Plenty of parking space, a friendly lady at the door taking entry fees to non members. Place was spotless, a busy Saturday night, bar staff friendly and drinks of good standard.
DJ played great music till the band came on. Was a great evening, we danced the night away.
Will become members and use the club .Met young Billy, my wife used to visit with her Grandad and knew Billy senior. A friendly welcome .

Ship Shape Cafe Bar

Really enjoyed our breakfast at this unique ‘greasy spoon’ cafe. I got the vegan feast and added hash browns. I was very happy with what we got for the price we paid. And they didn’t charge extra for plant milk in my coffee! All the breakfast components were tasty, especially the mushrooms, the service was quick and staff friendly and welcoming. This is a lovely location with lots of character. The cafe is inside an arch and is long & thin inside, so space is a little limited - not a problem at all for us as we opted to sit outside and enjoy the harbour views - but worth noting for larger groups. That said it was reasonably busy when we visited but didn’t feel claustrophobic and noise levels were ok inside, and outside there was no real noise. It was warm but quite a windy day, the location was fairly sheltered so it was really pleasant.

Hair of the Dog

Visited minster, inquisitive looking for there reveerd village fish and chip shop! That I'd heard good things about. It was closed lol but open at 16.00hrs, Blast! But 'opposite' sat the 'hair of the dog micro pub'. So hey ho .. why not and so Glad i did taste a pint..that midday. What very nice micro pub, looked like a few regulars in there, joined in there chat etc, what a lovely very friendly social atmosphere inside. With a very Nice drop of ale too,... just pity I could only sample one , as I was driving ?

Sunrise Cafe

I had a mega breakfast and I had to dislocate my jaw like a snake just to slide in the sheer volume on my plate, it was great! Also the service was top tier, I got the feeling that they were good people behind the counter, one of the guys spotted that my daughter was a crazy goon and needed her own plate and the other guy who took my order (the patriarch?) had the cool ambience of a Sicilian godfather. Will definitely go there again.

The Crown

First visit in many of year, nice service with a smile, seemed not to have a lot of glasses ended up with plastic ones. Food was good. Also very busy on Sunday due to London Marathon. Toilets look like they are having a make over, but still need cleaning and dusting. Guinness price at £6:50 still a bit expensive but again we are in Greenwich. No staff come to clear table I had to take the glasses to the bar each time.

Enoteca

I attended my sister-in-law’s baby shower at Enoteca and couldn’t have chosen a better place. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxed—perfect for a special celebration. The food platter boards were beautifully presented and offered a fantastic variety, with something for everyone to enjoy. Everything tasted as good as it looked.
The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the event, which made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. The venue itself was spotless, well cared for, and had a really lovely vibe. Enoteca made the day feel extra special, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for both events and casual visits. We’ll definitely be back!

Alexandra Ristorante Italiano

What a fantastic place! We visited Ramsgate this weekend and a friend took us here. The food was excellent. The lasagne was meaty and tasty. The minestrone was full of flavour. My son had a margarita pizza and loved it. He also enjoyed some of my friend's mushroom pasta which was delicious! The food is cooked by Italians and it's just so good to go to an Italian restaurant that serves food that you might get in Italy. The owner is a lovely lady who gave my son extra gelato which made him super chuffed. We will definitely be back!

Montefiore Arms

A proper straightforward pub with great atmosphere, well kept beer and a warm welcome.
A great to catch up with old friends or make some new ones at the bar. Our men's book group fit perfectly into the snug room behind the bar. We can hear ourselves talk with a happy pub hum all around us. Nothing flashy about the place, just 100% genuine. Being off the beaten track makes it all the nore worthwhile to seek out.

Macies

Me and the wife love darts and we pop into most of not all darts pubs that have a board to play darts when we visit a town and this place was really nice and welcoming and has good atmosphere and nice people, will be back when we are in town again.

Thanet Kebab and Pizza

Wow the fresh amazing vegetables is so good honestly the food is so clean and very tasty also make sure to try the ozzy sauce and thank me later I would definitely recommend

The Queens Head

Big shout out to Jim and his staff, for a most enjoyable night, featuring the hotsy totsy band, who were booked to play at a private function to celebrate my dads life. Jim and the whole team were fantastic. A great venue, great beer and atmosphere, five stars all round.

Harbour Street Bar

Went to the bar when I was on a date and the barmaid was very friendly but there was one guy who was very abusive to the women drinking in the bar calling them different names because he was really drunk. The blackberry cider was very nice and I love that they have a jukebox. It's just a shame that they don't have enough space for a pool table too. I would come there again next time I am in Ramsgate but only if that drunk guy isn't there!

Jemima's Tea Rooms

Quirky beautifully decorated little tea room in the heart of a beautiful friendly village. Amazing homemade cakes to die for. Lovely staff who are more than accommodating with pushchairs.
There is also a little courtyard seating area too. ?

The Royal

Usually, fairly quite. I didn't have any food, so i can't comment on that. I was served quickly by a friendly barmaid. There is inside or outside seating overlooking the boating marina. Beautiful views for a hot sunny day!

China City

Definitely found my favourite hot and sour ? ? ? soup...
Enough to order again!

The Flying Horse

Tom the landlord made us feel very welcome. Even thought we were (quietly) supporting the other team, not his. Excellent Guinness too. But it was the warmth and hospitality of Tom and the locals nearby that marks this out as a special place. It offers community and friendship to all. A class act.

Coffee Shack

This is is my second visit and they and it’s just as great the second time. Eggs royale amazing.. cocoloco smoothie brilliant and service lovely. Definitely my Margate ‘go to’

Hare and Hounds

Great "local" pub. Still my local despite moving a couple of miles away. Great parking & large garden for the summer. Friendly staff & patrons. Great place for a pint after work or night out. And a huge plus is that the pub is dog friendly.

Fast friendly service staff are on point shots are tip top view of the harbour is amazing drinks are very cheep music is good got to be the best pub in ramsgate highly recommended n worth a pop

Pie mash is what I went for.Did not expect too much, but very pleasantly surprised!!!This beats most London,s pie mash what I’m not proud to say.Definitely returning.Open till 4pm on a Sunday, better still!!!?

Tycoon Chinese Takeaway

First time trying it and the food was nice. They did forget one of our main meals but it was too for away and late to go back and get it.
We had some allergies which the lady tried her best to help us through the options.
All in all a solid takeaway option and quite reasonably priced
