Made very welcome, we also took our dog in. We had a bar lunch,chicken skewers and chilli jacket potatoe,very good value,the Spitfire bitter perfect. Have booked to try the Sunday Lunch.

We had an excellent Sunday roast. The meat was plentiful & the quantity & variety of vegetables was extremely good. The yorkshire puds were fresh & crispy & the jug of extra gravy was very welcome. Service was prompt & friendly.
2 nights 2 bands ..Saturday night band had the whole pub dancing. What a great pub to stumble across on a weekend away
