We were shopping at Westwood Cross and thought we'd have a carvery for convenience. We enjoyed the food and were impressed with the variety on offer. Our waitress Sarah was very helpful and jolly. We can definitely recommend.

The waitress was lovely. Unfortunately there was a long wait for a pre booked table. We attempted to get a drink from behind the barThere was only one person serving (on a Sunday lunchtime) and she was very slowShe also did not serve people in turnParking: Spaces very narrow very few disabled

Know exactly what you're going to get with the food, always great. The app has lots of offers, so worth downloading, kids ate for a quid, they also they are most recognisable chain on the dining out gift cards.Server made splitting the bill across party a bit harder than it really needed to be, but other than that service was fine.Personally I think they should just employ a pay before system and just bring ticket up, as everyone always gets a carvery anyway, rather than counting plates at the end and trying to wave busy servers down which takes ages as always busy.Overall decent meal, was Christmas get together for big family, so was happy to sacrifice a bit of atmosphere for brilliant value and convenience.

Sarah is one of the most amazing hostesses. She's very attentive and is brilliant at her job. A real asset to the company. GIVE HER A RAISE!!

Lovely food, as always. Except for the stuffing... always seems to be a bit dry and burnt. Our server, Sarah, was polite, quick and lovely.

Sarah was a delightful waitress, and you can never go wrong with a Toby Carvery! Generous portions and all piping hot..perfect for a weekday evening when you can't be bothered to cook!

Christmas day meal Very disappointing. We had a 4.15pm booked slot. Seated at table 45 minutes late. Lots of complaints from customers around this period. Some asking for refunds and leaving. Table wasn't laid on arrival and the restaurant looked untidy and dirty. Carvery food was warm and no gravy or cranberry sauces were available on arrival at the Carvery queue. By the time we got back to our table everyone was complaining that the food was nearly cold. I had to ask the waitress to return my meal to the kitchen to reheat my dinner in the microwave. Paid £65 quid each for this disaster. Basically Toby couldn't cope. Poor management on booking arrangements. Couldn't blame the staff though. Won't be going back next year. Merry Christmas Toby ?

The booking was over half hour late to be seated. There was not enough staff, the starters were cold and not brought out together. The standard of the food on the carvery was appalling potatoes and veg over cooked and looked like had been sat too long. No staff to serve drinks or clear the table. The puddings took over 30 mins to come and again didn’t come together and poor quality. Our table still had our bowls from starters and plates from main on the table throughout. Absolutely appalling especially for the money charged for Xmas day. Bill was wrong, never got pigs in blankets as per pre order. Terrible

Very tidy and clean EXCELLENT waitress she had brilliant people skills unfortunately I didn’t get her name (she had pretty tattoos on her arms)Starters were good prawn cocktails, soup and mushrooms4 x carvery’s meat, yorkshires & roast pots were all good. Veg was mushy, cauliflower cheese disappointing and was crunchy were the cauliflower had not been washed properly2 x desert apple crumble very good as was coffeeI know it super hard to keep veg firm when cooking on large scale, but for me it would be enough to stop me coming backSorryHowever my in laws enjoyed theirs very muchAnd as they can’t get out will defo have theirs delivered next time

Our heartfelt thanks to Phil and the team for making adjustments so our family could enjoy a special Christmas lunch during a difficult time. They were amazing and the food as lovely as always. Thanks again Phil, what a trooper.

Staff were totally brilliant could not fault. 20 out of ten. First up to Carvery Lamb and Beef were unable to cut through let alone chew. Vegetables were cold and raw. We were in an out in 35 mins. Christmas Day. Best part was the staff. We informed them Mum was in hospital down road and took her a take away. She could not eat beef either. Heartbreaking. She was so looking forward to it. £66 for her meal but could not cancel 10 days before.Parking: Disabled to many people park in a few spaces that are not disabled.

We were a party of four adults and a one year old, booked well in advance a window table and highchair. On arrival, a little early, the receptionist told us that our table was still in use but as the party had been well over an hour, they would probably be nearly ready to go, so we said, fine we'll wait. Fifteen minutes after our booking the receptionist returned to tell us that the other party were only just ordering desserts, he could show us two other tables, so as we had a toddler in our party we accepted a small table by a window. We ordered starters, mains and desserts, only to be disappointed that there was no Christmas pudding left, this was the festive menu, so my husband settled for apple pie, the first dessert l ordered was off and the next! Iasked for an alternative and the waitress came back and said that l could only have what was left available on the menu , l was not happy and so she then had a word with her senior and returned offering me dessert from the regular menu so l had cheesecake, very nice . My husband was really upset as he was looking forward to Christmas pudding not apple pie. One comment on my Salmon Wellington, the salmon was dry.We have had the festive menu twice before at this restaurant without any complaints, this time a little disappointiing not a festive menu if there's no Christmas pudding!!Staff were polite and helpful..
