It's a Costa and so has the good and drinks you might expect. Service is good. I just wish they'd sort out their fruit fly problem - I'd never buy any unwrapped food here.

ALways enjoyable staff are always great. Plus the location is fantastic and snugly fit into Rochester City centre. Plus Baggins book bazaar is nearby. Always a bonus

The girls don’t bother to clean the tables and when we asked them to they simply came over and took away last customers tray and then said she cleaned it..the table still covered in filth! When we asked them to wipe for us..she took ages while we stood there with tray in hand. They are being very rude by laughing at customers! These girls are simply intimidating and humiliating customers! Pathetic staff!

The delightful view across to the North Gate and down the beautiful high street has been ruined by an unnecessary and ugly corporate advertising screen recently mounted in the shop window. Disregarding local aesthetics, degrading visitors and locals experience. Corporate product placement, advertising and profit has been put before consideration of the local environment. Please would you kindly have it removed.

Lovely staff in this busy branch of Costa. Only a few tables outside, but altogether a good coffee shop.

Lovely coffee and toastie…staff really friendly and courteous

Table outside had not been cleaned when we sat down and when we left, someone else sat down so again not cleaned between customers.

I was about to go in yesterday but saw that there were many customers inside, not socially distancing and many not wearing masks. This shop is a health hazzard and should be shut down. Needless to say I went elsewhere

Staff are great and always smiley and do their best to help, even when under a lot of pressure with queues out the door. The drinks are lovely, mine wasn’t quite hot enough so they kindly made me a new one with no fuss! Great customer service!

Yesterday visited Rochester waited outside Costa for a table. Just one table occupied. Told abuptly to wait outside. It was raining. There was a queue. Other tables empty. Could have had more people in safely. Not welcoming! It's a chain. If it wasn't this business wouldn't survive!

One of only 2 high street chain shops in Rochester . We had some food from the Christmas Menu and a very nice Americano with pouring cream while reading the free daily papers .

I'm a costa coffee junkie lol and would say they do the Best coffee around in medway... Before moving to Cornwall I use to pop in most days when I was working, the coffee and staff were awesome

Looks big from outside but you’ll be lucky to get a seat. If you’re in a group of 4+ forget it. Many people just sat on big tables by themselves. Some parents put their kids on a separate table with some toys too. Many dodgy people drift off the street to use the toilets downstairs. They’re not nice. Coffee ok, but cold.

Pleasant place for a coffee in a convenient Rochester High Street location. Got served quickly, and the coffee and cake were to the normal Costa standard. Additional seating downstairs. Nice place, would call in again

Every table left uncleared, toilets filthy and only had one saucer for two cups. Have been in cleaner transport cafés.
