Amazing service and good. The Thai green and red curries were lovely. Pad Thai was also excellent. Large portions of rice. Excellent value and too this restaurant quality. Best we’ve had in Kent and outside London. Can’t wait to go back. Great service and fitted us in no problem even though it was busy during Dickens Festival.

Stopped for Lunch, had no tables available but did have room at a high top in the bar. Had two platters and a bottle of wine and quality on everything was excellent.Service was excellent. Mix of quick, efficient, friendly and welcoming.Really can’t knock my experience here. Will visit again and highly recommend.

We had breakfast with friends today and cannot fault the service we received from Dan at Quills. He was really friendly, with a good sense of humour. He took our order promptly. The food arrived swiftly as we had said we couldn’t stay too long today. Dan checked everything was ok with our food. Great service even when the restaurant was pretty busy.

We hadn’t booked but were able to be accommodated for Sunday roast and totally recommend sea bass and pulled porkIt was very busy and I didn’t notice any plates with any food on it!Nearby activities: It is very quiet and a nearby RSPB which is why we went. A mile past the pub on leftFood & drinks: 1st class and you will not be disappointed with what we had which was sea bass and pulled porkThe pies looked to die for but they didn’t have the steak and aleWill try that and the chocolate cheesecake next timeThat said, the crumble and custard was delicious too, recommend sharing though as very filling!!

Visited here for our anniversary. Staff were wonderful and we were treated to a complimentary glass of Prosecco each for the occasion which was a lovely thoughtful touch. Staff were attentive and a credit to the establishment. The sourdough bread tasted fresh. The fish soup was lovely and rich. The fillet steak absolutely melted in the mouth and was cooked perfectly. The tuna sashimi had clean fresh flavours. Th seabass ceviche had bold and light flavours running through and was very refreshing. This was our first visit but definitely won’t be our last. Delicious food and wonderful service 10/10

Very handy for a bite before an evening event at the cathedral as they are open in the afternoon. Many restaurants didn't open until 6, so this suited us. Great food and service, and pretty good value for money. Nice atmosphere and we had a lovely waiter.

Can't wait for the summer, will be a great hangout in the sunshine... no vaping inside though sadly ? but plenty of benches outdoors. I really like Chips on the HillThe staff are friendly and have a good rapport with customers.Most food is cooked to order which may mean a few minutes wait but so much better to get everything fresh,it definitely tastes better.Extensive menu with veggie options.Portion sizes are generous and prices are on the medium to lower side.Had a quarter pounder today 13/02/2024. Very tasty and old school. Lettuce, cheese and fried onions.

We enjoyed our meals - liver and bacon, sea bass and chicken and apricot tagine. The fruit of the day crumble was very good too. Well what can i say it was a pre family gathering for 26 of us for the Christmas menu..3 courses 24.95 2 courses 21.95… Great price… It was gorgeous food was delicious n hot served promptly always a worry when such a large group… they also catered for the children if they didnt want the set menu… The staff done an amazingly good job every detail covered… Lovely little pub and only up the road which is even better..
