Fantastic little zoo pub. I love taking my family here, perfect for an afternoon with a little one and then a pint after. Wish the pub had some hand pumps but that’s just me :) love the animals and the ethos behind it!

Is a nice small pub, with good food, connected with the Zoo, so is a busy place.??

Visited today, to view the animals, it was nice to see they are still expanding the zoo area. Stopped to have lunch in the food area. One of the best lunches we have had in a while. Large portions, freshly made. We had a chicken and bacon toastie with small side salad and tortilla crisps. The toastie was full of good quality chicken and bacon, fresh salad and well presented. Also had a portion of calamari Which was massive and so well cooked. The coffee was amazing too.

Great. Loved the zoo next door

This pub is connected to the Fenn Bell zoo so caters for the cafe more than the pub. We booked a table for Mother's Day. We were early so had to wait, not a problem but there are no seats at the bar to sit on while you wait. When we ordered our choice of meal and desert they had run out, due to the demand in the cafe from the zoo. Not impressed, but local to where we were staying at Haven.

Great service, great food and really reasonably priced! We had lunch whilst away on holiday and our two year old loved it, we'd visited the zoo the day before :)Great Gluten Free options too!

The food was average and the service was horrible. The waitress put our food outside on the wrong table and when we queried it, we were told "it's outside. It will be cold now". She then threw it at me with a disgusting attitude. It was cheap quality food, rudest service and high price tag.

A great little pub, friendly staff & a zoo attached. Have been several times as new animals to see & the zoo keeps evolving.

Had a cooked breakfast here when visiting the attached zoo. Food was very good, asked for crispy bacon and got crispy bacon.

Been highly recommended and decided one cold and dank Saturday evening to visit. The first thing that brought our attention was the warmth of the roaring log burner, which was ever so welcoming. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was delicious and sadly could not quite finish. Only downer was having to get our cutlery and napkins from the other tables and the condiments basket could of been refilled. Chatted to owner Andy (really lovely and down to earth guy). Such a knowledgeable and friendly man. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

We went to the zoo, and had lunch at the Fenn Bell Inn with our 1yr old. It's a nice little pub, and the fire was appreciated on a cold day. Unfortunately, the kids menu is limited, unless you want chips with everything. They offer an all day breakfast on their day menu, so we asked if they could make an omelette for my 1yr old and was told that wasn't possible. Such a shame. Thankfully we had some food and snacks with us. The food we did order was nice enough though, and it is handy to have the pub on site when visiting the zoo on a cold day.

Have opened up a new section accessed from the zoo. Warm, child friendly. All toilets are disabled / child changing rooms and normal toilets, which is brilliant!Food lovely! Would visit again.Parking: Understandable parking actually outside the pub is at a premium but ample parking 100metres down the road.Kid-friendliness: Play area, indoor and outdoor eating area, can fit pushchairs and have high chairs. All toilets are changing rooms which is a massive advantage!
