This is a take away and the best one in strood . Fish top class same as the chips and they do crackling plus a really lovely girl serving makes you feel welcome

Food is overpriced and average at best. Even when it’s cooked fresh the batter on the cod is still somehow immediately soggy.Parking: Parking is difficult as there aren’t many spaces

Fri-yay! This is our local "go to" fish and chip shop. We prefer to order when we visit but they will take orders over the phone. Just remember it's strictly cash payment only!Prices and portions seem reasonable and good value. I usually I have cod and chips, the cod is always cooked while I wait, very good quality, good in size, in my opinion. The batter is tasty and not to thick either. The chips are mostly just right, usually drained well, not too crispy but soft.Be quick to get them home and open, as they can get soggy with the heat when freshly cooked! The place could do with a refresh but Chinese staff are always friendly and quick to serve....4/5
