Worst Chinese had locally , rubbery over cooked chicken , hardly any taste , ribs bland only thing edible was the rice !!!

Have used the golden woke for four years and all ways been happy with food delivered. Just had a delivery for the first time in two years. Food was to a good standard but price has gone up which is OK but portion size is very poor so will not use again.

DO NOT ORDER! Worst service ever! I have used this restaurant many times before and enjoyed my meal.Tonight the food arrived cold & grey. Very dry and really tasted awful. When called to complain and requested refund. They said wanted food back untouched. Explained that some had been dished up as it was when tasted we realised it was awful. They came to collect food but argued on the doorsep that one prawn had been eaten and 2 x chicken balls! We eventually got a refund, but they kept the tip for delivery. Rude & unhelpful staff. Never using again.

Been feeling let down by Chinese food over the past few months. The food is either to dry or no flavour etc.We decided to try the Golden Wok yesterday after looking at reviews.The food was exceptionally good. I've always felt Chinese Take Aways are good with some food and lacking in others. Golden Wok nailed it all. So surprised! Massive bag of crackers, food was piping hot, even when we got it home which was after about a 20 minute Journey. Really tasty, really good portion sizes.The Chicken balls were epic. Sometimes they're a bit fatty, and the chicken size is actually relatively small! Not the case with these ones! Massive chunks of chicken in them, really tasty, moist. Perfect!100 percent recommend for anyone in the Rochester area!

Ordered this few times and it was ok at best. Tonight however, the chicken was completely undercooked. Dangerously so, to the point that not only was it pink, but pretty sure parts were still frozen.Chips were also undercooked and we ended up throwing the entire meal away. Had to settle for instant noodles, with £40 wasted.Eat here if you want, but understand that your taking one hell of a risk with your health.On a positive, the delivery driver and person on the phone were nice.

Driver was lovely and polite, food arrived very hot, generous portions, delicious food, spicy dishes were actually spicy! Cash only wasn't a problem, but I do prefer to pay by card.

Food very poor! Used in the past and has been good. Never again after most recent experience. Chicken balls & chips not crispy, undercooked & grey. Food overall was cold, hard & tasted awful. Unfortunately had tried food to find how disgusting it was. I ate 2 chips & a chicken ball. My partner ate a spoon of the curry, a chicken ball & a piece of prawn toast. We called the restaurant as tasted so bad and requested a refund, they said had to be returned untouched. Explained had to try to know it was not edible, but would put back in trays for them to see. They came to our door and opened all the trays on the doorstep to argue that a prawn from the curry & some chicken balls were missing so could only have a partial refund. We did eventually get a refund....but only after an argument.

Ordered 'Kung Bao' chicken. They brought out sweet and sour. No black bean and no chilli. Just red sauce! Asked if there was a mistake. Chef came out and said he will re-do the dish. 5 mins later, same dish with some green chilli and black beans mixed in it. Told them I don't want to eat.Disgraceful!!!

Always use... fantastic Chinese and food is always hot and tasty Cant fault anything. Their satay chicken is one to get. Tried the dumplings. Beautiful....
