5stars to the amazing staff and owners! My children absolutely love their nuggets and chips here. They also have delicious chocolate cake. Always friendly and hot severed meals. Since the new owners took over this place looks amazing. I would definitely recommend and will be visiting again. Great location. Great food and amazing owners. Thank you ☺️

we have been eagerly waiting and tried ozzies new revamped chip shop for a chippie tea on saturday we went to the Hogarth pub first (to see the new manager) and find out his ideas for the pub sounds exciting and time will tell, we rang ozzies at around 5pm Saturday from the pub guessing he would be busy and was told would be ready in 15 mins we gave it 25 just in case and sure enough it was not ready, lots of people inside and outside the shop waiting, we waited another 10 mins for it to be ready and the staff did look a bit rushed. on getting home and plating we found our spring roll burnt on one side and my wife's vegetarian donner was also burnt (the vegetables) and were quite greasy, yes I could have gone back to the shop and Im sure they would have changed it for me but the "experience" had passed and I didn't fancy traipsing back to the shop and waiting for it to be rectified.so just cut off the burnt side and the wife left the donner, On the plus side the chips and chicken strips were good and our dogs loved the chicken popcorn (although I thought they were a little over done) but its a new kitchen and Im sure once the staff get to grips with it the food will be more consistent.

Had an amazing visit to here with the little one and the dog after going for a stroll to the beach!Little one absolutely loved the kids cod bites and chips which was a huge portion! I also loved the cheese burger with donner in it again a great portion! Will definitely revisit and recommend as the staff were all very friendly and also made a fuss of the little one ?Parking: Easy to find parking spaces infront of the shop.Kid-friendliness: Made a fuss of my little one and he was happy to sit inside to eat his food.

The hardest chips I've ever had from a chip shop ??? I'm In disbelief that nothing was learnt from the time spent working at Anatolia in Hoo, which was a quality takeaway. Shocking mate, absolutely shocking.

I used this place for years when oz ran it and always enjoyed it. However, I've used it twice under new management but there will not be a third time. The 1st time, the New guy had just taken over,my kebab meat seemed to have been sitting around a while,I asked for no cucumber or tomato. I got just cucumber and tomato. I also ordered a cheese burger with fried onions, they were raw. Also the chips were missing. 2nd and final time I used it, again, raw onions and garlic sauce on my kebab instead of chilli. Come back Oz,I'm hungry.

Stopped here last Saturday, food was cooked fresh(cod and chips), batter was light and crispy, cod was cooked to perfection, chip portion was a good size . Staff very friendly and had some banter going with what I assume to be regular customers. Sat and ate our meals in the country park overlooking the Thames estuary(not a bad view)Kid-friendliness: Staff friendly and helpful to all ages who came inParking: Parking spaces in front of the shop and on the road too

I've been away down here for the weekend and got battered sausage and chips today and yesterday. The food is very nice and great quality. Alongside that, the staff are lovely and very welcoming. I would recommend this place 100% ?
