A very pleasant experience at their Rochester branch. Lovely and warm inside too!We had a half and half pizza which is a great idea. Thin and crispy is our choice, one side was Margherita with some tasty ham added and the other with goats cheese,onion, caramelised onion and spinach.The tomato base was very tasty which I often find lacking elsewhere.Would recommend downloading the Pizza Express app, we got a free dough ball starter just for downloading it. Once we paid for our meal another free item was added for next time.We didn't have dessert as we felt they are really overpriced with most being almost £7. IMHO £5.95 is the maximum for the type of desserts they offer.The staff were all friendly, they checked back on us regularly. The restaurant was clean and it's possible to see the kitchen which also looked clean and well organised

Never order a delivery from here. I’ve ordered 4 times and each time I’ve either received the wrong dish or entire dishes were missing. The restaurant never pick up the phone, but if you do manage to get through they blame Uber. When you contact Uber they blame Pizza Express. Each time I’ve emailed customer service to complain and they could not care less. A complimentary starter does not make up for a pizza being missing or a meat pizza being delivered when you’re vegan.

On the last few visits, both in December 2023, we were so crammed in it felt like we were having dinner with strangers sitting at our table. This place used to be nice but sadly no longer. They have crammed so many tables it’s very unpleasant. On one visit we were sat on the bench style sofa, the gap between the tables wasn’t big enough even for the slimmest of people, once sat down you coundn’t even get out to pop to the loo. We asked to move and the reply was it’s fine you will all be best friends by the end of the meal. This is not a pleasant dinning experience, when eating out it’s not all about the food but the atmosphere, ethos and sittings come into play. You coundn't have a private conversation when the person next door was a few centimetres away. Come on management consider your paying customers comfort and sort this out. Please ensure there is a big enough gap between tables so that people aren’t trapped and can freely visit the loo when needed. Until you sort this out we will dine in one of the many food establishments in Rochester that are more comfortable and where you feel you are having a private meal with your own friends and family.

1st day of Christmas Market.Dirty tables, long wait even when seated had to wait 25mins for order to be taken, then food came, missing item which had to ask for. Then paying for bill had to wait another 20mins for someone to even come with pdq machine to take payment. They knew it was 1st day of Christmas Market so why not more staff who actually know what they are doing.

I ordered the BBQ burnt ends pizza. After waiting a very long hour in a half full restaurant, what arrived in front of me was a huge circle of almost soggy bread due to way too much sauce, containing only 4-5 tiny pieces of meat that tasted like they had been in the slow cooker, nothing like BBQ. There were a few slices of red onion thrown around too, and apart from one small section it seemed devoid of cheese!! I actually visited in September, but delayed my review to avoid offending the person who took me there. Had it been my choice and my wallet, I would have definitely walked out.
It was very busy in Rochester the team were welcoming friendly and explained the wait. We were not rushed and had a lovely evening.

I attended a family meal last week and the food and service were impeccable ! Got to meet the manager with long blonde hair. She was lovely and created a very inviting atmosphere - i will definitely be coming back !!!

We were greated warmly on our arrival. No problem when we asked to chance our seating away from the door. Staff was extremely friendly and helped us with the app. We thoroughly enjpyed our dinner which was well cooked and hot. The place was clean and overall we were wery impressed. We would certainly return. Thank you very much to the lovely lady who served us and the young man who took the trouble to explain us how to work out the offers on the app. We shall be back again soon. 10/10

Have eaten at PE 40+ times over the years and this was the first time have had delivered. Away for work and had a hard day and have to be up for 4am tomorrow, so ordered in to the hotel that I am staying in as trying to chill and relax (did not have the energy to go out to eat). The order ended up being 30 mins later than expected and when it arrived was stone cold. The pizza had not be pre-cut and there was also no cutlery so was tricky to try and eat. No napkins either and the dough balls had gone soggy. Hadn't noticed that the coke was a bottle when I ordered and needed to have a bottle opener so was unable to drink it. I have got another 3 nights staying here and based on this experience would not use delivery again. Order#4430

Had my daughter’s 9th birthday party here. She had a pizza making party, it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the kids had the best time making their own pizzas, they all loved the food and the whole experience was much better than I expected. Great value for money, I would definitely recommend it for a child’s party.
