“Ever fancied piping-hot curry WITHOUT losing your spot at the bar? Welcome to Ruby’s at the Medway Inn! ??”
?️ Tiny but mighty. Dine-in space is cosy—think “living-room extension” rather than grand banquet hall—but they’ll whisk your order straight over to the pub next-door. Table service plus bar stool? Chef’s kiss.
? Wallet-friendly flavour bomb. Prices sit firmly in the “how is this only £?” zone considering the rich sauces and generous portions.
? Service had a nap. Needed to summon napkins, chutneys, and the bill with more hand-waving than a Bollywood dance number. Might’ve just caught our server on low battery.
? Food = full send. Classic British-Indian takeaway goodness: fragrant spice, fluffy rice, naan the size of a steering wheel. “Banging” is the scientific term.
? Takeaway triumph. Grab it to go, stroll five metres, and you’re back cradling a pint while your jalfrezi stays volcanic.
TL;DR: Mouth-watering curry at bargain prices; service can lag but the flavours sprint. Bring patience, leave happy (and extra full). ?
Absolutely delicious food, great service and am so lucky to they are close they can deliver. xxx thank you
Great pub
Great food and always friendly
Great little find, amazing food with good service.
Been here a few times and have never been disappointed. They’ve started doing wraps now which is a great alternative to a standard curry. I love the curries but not everyone does. Great menu with lots on offer.
Another great meal at the Medway Inn. Staff are always attentive and friendly. we are lucky to have this venue, close to us.
Yet another great meal (we eat in the bar area) amazing food and very friendly bar staff! Made to feel at home which has been really nice
Always great service and food,
Always have takeaway, hence no stars for atmosphere. They deliver too. Would recommend.
Went with friends for a sit down. Service was quick and efficient. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was nice. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely visit again. ?

The Sunday roast meal was fine, but we were booked in for 1.00 pm. Arrived on time and ordered our choices pretty quickly . Food arrived at 2.00pm, which was a long time to wait with two small children, a 3 year old and a five year old.
Excellent food, the service by the staff was spot on, very friendly and informative, great choice of beers and lagers.
My first time visiting the restaurant food was very nice and atmosphere was great. Will visit again.
Lovely meal we had our 4 year old with us and the waiter was really good with her!. Lovely atmosphere only a small restaurant we were a walk in that was no problem. We enjoyed our evening meal . Food was good only thing I thought the sorce on the prawn cocktail could have been thicker apart from that very enjoyable. I was directly sat in front of the air con it was a bit cold but I'm sure if asked they would have turned it down. Very friendly staff.
Kid-friendliness: Kept talking to our daughter who was tired and not wanting to eat so fidgeting and being bord. Waiter kept engaging with her . Also have a kids menu . We didn't order from it but nice to know it's there.
Fathers Day Sunday Lunch at The Medway Inn was lovely. Albeit a bit on the warmer side inside the restaurant, the atmosphere staff, service and food was lovely. Big shout out to Sarah who was a lovely server, friendly and attentive with suggestions for our Little one. This was our first time visiting and it was such a positive experience, I am looking forward to booking again!
