Really cute cafe. Coffee was good and was lovely to get out of the wind. If you wait long enough you just might see the steam train too.

Empty when we visited. Very clean and tidy. Good views over the area from the back. Couple of nice ladies serving. But sadly probably the worst cup of black coffee I've had for a long time. Hopefully the 'long black' will come into existence in more establishments rather the well watered down Americano currently being served.

Firstly the queue was long & slow. Plenty of staff behind the counter though, really didn't get it. We got some sandwiches & cake from the fridge section. All dry & uninteresting. Cake shouldn't be on a fridge section. Shame because the outside seating by the station was great. Certainly wouldn't come again.

Only had cups of tea, little pricey for just a cup of tea.

There hasn't been any great improvement since the last time we visited. Again we were calling in for a coffee but, this time, with a cake. Disappointing as no Gluten Free choices at all available for my wife and the coffee was machine made and mostly frothy milk. Only pluses, there's free parking, an interesting railway shop adjoining, it's got dog friendly areas and you can watch the trains and enjoy the views.

A great place to have a bite to eat before boarding the train back to Dymchurch.

Lovely staff and such a great little gem, 2 bottles of water and 2 steak and kidney pies just 10 pounds. We had also a ride by an old train , it was such a great experience

We got some snacks and takeaway coffee which were average, however the staff were very rude when I asked for them. Food and hygiene looked like it wasn’t proper as there seemed to be a lack of washing hands in the kitchen, that I could see.

We are quite regular visitors here. Parking in the car park alongside the station is usually okay. It is more organised than in the past. Each space is marked with a wooden batten. Sadly hardly anyone bothers!!! The restaurant/cafe also houses the ticket office for the RHDR and a small shop. Recently it has become dog friendly. We usually sat outside in the garden, but after a walk across the nature reserve we are able to have a coffee and a snack inside. Tables are marked with ? prints. Good coffee and a chance to watch the trains arrive and depart.

Chaotic, grubby, expensive and uninspiring cafe with insufficient and surly staff, awful food and a shop selling cheap tut, do yourselves a favour, use their loos, get back on the train, eat a packed lunch and enjoy the views, never, ever again!

Surprisingly good sandwiches, good coffee and pleasant service in a cafe whilst you can watch the trains - ideal

Triple check prices on their gifts. Purchased something today, item marked up as one price, then charged considerably more for it. When questioned after the transaction went through why the item was so much more Steve was rude and his little side kick wasn’t any better simply saying that yes the gifts have different prices on the label to what customers pay????
