The Drill Hall is a legitimate 5* venue. They were kind enough to host a celebration for us and it couldn't have gone better. They gave us and our guests an amazing day. As always the food was delicious, even though it was being produced on mass, the quality didn't drop. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We chose the Drill Hall for the celebration as it's our favourite restaurant and now means even more to us.I cannot recommend it enough!

Visited today for dinner with my parents. Lovely place, and the pizzas and ice cream are to die for! Specialty lattes as well, I had a turmeric latte today, which was lovely! Friendly, happy staff, too. Highly recommend!

Visited yesterday afternoon with my daughter and grandson. Won’t be going again. Unenthusiastic young male waiter. Tables are too large and seats are too low. We were given plastic knives and forks to use. I asked for metal replacements but they don’t have them available. I discussed this issue with the “ owner” he said that most customers eat with their fingers. But this would be difficult as the pizza base is very “ sloppy” and needs to be cut and eaten with a fork. £60 total bill which included two soft drinks, one pot of tea, one coffee and two ice creams. ?

Nice food, service and price. We ate delicious pizza and garlic pizza bread, drank some gin tonic and cola and had a fast order and payment. Nothing to complain about.

It is a very dark hall when coming in from a sunny day. Not very busy, so lots of seating is available. Unfortunately, the staff were rather rude when approached. It's a bit of a shame as a lovely location with potential. Plenty of other café available nearby with enthusiastic and customer focused staff.

Second visit to this place. This time without the kids. The pizzas are amazing! Had a Karma cola and Monatgu pizza. The wife had a pepperoni. Both were delicious, and to top it off, we had homemade ice cream for desert. Fast service and great food. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options.Kid-friendliness: Kids and dogs welcome

The best authentic tasting Italian pizza. Not ur usual greasy chewing gum pizza. The atmosphere is good and the staff are always polite and welcoming.Would definitely recommend prebooking as it gets very busy and seating is limited.Parking: If you go after 5pm you can park on single yellow lines for free. Check signage
Went with my daughter in law and my baby granddaughter. She liked the fairy lights and the streamers hanging from the umbrellas.Good lunch with excellent serviceWe had two of the sour dough sandwiches.Delicious sour dough bread. My sandwich just needed a touch more Caramelised onion relish and a little less mozzarella to make it five stars.Very chilled atmosphere.Would definitely return. My husband went on the following Saturday with family and friends and said the pizzas were very good.

We went for tea & coffee and ice creams, which were very nice. The smell of the pizzas was very tempting, though wasted on us, because we weren't hungry then. We'll be back to try them as soon as we're in the area again.Staff friendly and helpful.Parking: Pay and display over the road, next to the canal, or is it a river... Probably busy in the height of summer, not full in early June.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel in, easy as that.
