We have eaten here many times in recent years and always had a pleasant experience. Went again to celebrate my brother’s birthday. As always there’s a good choice of vegan dishes, but some of the dishes we ordered were bland and filled out with onions, cutting back on the vegetables. There was a repair to the seats next to us with silver gaffer tape that had been there a long time and was half hanging off. The real problem came with the bill, the one alcoholic drink that we had ordered had been changed to four, adding around £15 to our bill. I questioned this with the waiter and he went off and came back with an amended bill saying it was a mistake. I then wanted to add up the bill to check there were no further mistakes, I took it out of the folder that it was presented in and at the top, under the clip where it wouldn’t be seen if it was left in the folder were poppadoms that we hadn’t ordered adding over £5 more to our bill. Upon questioning I was again told that this was a mistake. Sadly because of these mistakes I feel that I will not be returning there again. I would urge anyone eating here to check your bill carefully as you never can tell when mistakes might be made.

Absolute rubbish food, nasty staff. Don't go there.

Probably the worst service and attitude I have encountered in a restaurant. Table for three people , food was lousy ,staff uninviting, just wanting to force feed and get you out the door. Best part was actually leaving. Not recommended and will never go back

This isn't good, I have eaten at hundreds of Indian restaurants and this is one of the worst, The toilets don't get any better they are dirty. You will have to go out of sandwich to do better.

We visited yesterday - we were staying not far away and were a little late going out for dinner. I'm gluten free so often restricted for options. Warm welcome, efficient service and the food was great. Good portion sizes. Staff were aware of allergens and happy to advise. Was a little quiet, but was later on a Wednesday night and the staff were still attentive but not obtrusive. Would recommend.Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options.

Always love going here. It's the old converted fire station. Food is lovely and not overcharged.

The only place open in Sandwich to eat past 9pm for that I was grateful but the food was terrible. Bland no taste and you could tell it was reheated not fresh. If you eaten at good Indian restaurants this dining experience will fall very short of your expectations / chicken tikka was greasy and Not fresh off the grill, lamb was tasteless. Even the naan which was fresh was tasteless Awful

Fabulous food,. Very tasty and great atmosphere. Highly recommended, don't bother with the other Indian restaurant in Sandwich, this is cheaper and better.

Having recently eaten at the other Indian restaurant in Sandwich and had a very poor meal we were looking forward to a good Indian meal and we weren’t disappointed. The food and service were excellent. I had the saag Bhaji and dall masala which were cooked to perfection. My partner was also delighted with his meal. We will definitely be back as the range of vegetarian meals on offer far exceeded elsewhere locally and the food was wonderfully tasty.Vegetarian options: Many more vegetarian options than other local Indian restaurants.

It was really good food and I've only marked the service down because we waited an hour and a half for our main course. We were told that they were short staffed amid many apologies. So we'll try again on another occasion and hope they're back to normal

Yesterday I had dinner with my family. The food was Ok. Unfortunately, the service was poor. For dessert we ordered pistachio kulfa ice cream which turned out to be inedible. When paying the bill, we pointed out to the staff that the ice cream was not edible, one of the waitresses was arrogant and suggested that this is our best seller and dismissed What i had to say . We won't be going back there again
