This place has been going for a long time but it's the first time I'd been in here since it was a full service restaurant rather than a carvery. This was for a family meal so adults and kids / roast dinners. The place was busy so there was a bit of a wait on food but that was to be expected. The food was decent. Theyre cheeky in that if you want a full selection of veggies you have to order them as sides so it puts the cost up quite a bit. You do get the basic roast potatoes, carrots & red cabbage though. I also had to order gravy as what had been served was minimalist.Sauces & condiments were ordered and the servers seemed to have too many tables to look after at the same time because we had to ask 2 or 3 times and even then we didnt get everything we ordered :( the dessert was decent. I ordered a miniature apple & rhubarb crumble w custard & ice cream and it was just the right portion size. Someone else in my party ordered the biscoff cheesecake and another ordered the chocolate brownie. There were no complaints!Overall the meal was decent and we had a nice time but it was the service that let it down a bit. I would come back here, but perhaps not on a Sunday lunchtime. Its suitable for all ages. Its also useful they have a free car park adjacent to the venue.

Was treated to a meal by my partner and all of it was very nice but portions could be bit bigger but overall it was a great night. ☺️Wheelchair accessibility: Toilets for this im not sure on but toilets in ladies are low I felt like I should have been a child.

We have visited twice in the past two weeks. Impressive service and food the first time. The real ales were also in good condition but disappointed the AK was coming soon. The second time we visited for Pie Week. The food was very good with different waiters who were more impressive than the week before. The real ales were again, in excellent condition.I would recommend.

Large pub on the outskirts of Sevenoaks. Smart inside, and despite the pub's size it still had a cosy feel with a nice log fire burning. There's also plenty of free parking in the pubs car park.Owned by the McMullen's brewery, their cask ale is on offer and the two I tried were in good condition.Despite the initial good impression of the pub unfortunately the service and food let them down. Service was very slow throughout, it took a long time for our order to be taken and then a very long time for the food to arrive! I had the chicken Sunday Roast. The chicken was very good but sadly the roast potatoes were chewy and not very appetising. The rest of the food was fine.Due to the slow service we didn't stay for dessert. If the food and service were a better standard this would be an excellent place for a casual meal. I may have made a visit on an off day but it set a bad impression and unfortunately I won't be rushing back.Vegetarian options: Some veggie options availableKid-friendliness: Kid friendly with a decent children's menu

Attended the recent Abba Night for a friends 60th. Had a fabulous evening. Excellent entertainment. Great meal. The entire Bullfinch team provided excellent service, friendly, helpful and nothing too much trouble. Overall a fantastic night out.

Unfortunately some of the staff are very rude, 1 lady in particular.Unfortunately on a more recent visit the same lady has given the same or worse level of service. The bullfinch can't afford to give this level of service when there are so many other pubs in the area that offer more polite service with more on the menu. It's a shame, it's my nearest but I won't go near it most of the time when I get more reliable experiences elsewhere.
