Really impressed with the great service, delicious food and wonderful setting. We were a party of 17 celebrating a special birthday booked in during a busy Sunday lunchtime. Definitely coming back!

My Partner and I visited The Moat Sunday evening, from the moment we arrived the two security guys at front of house were polite and welcoming and reminded us to put car reg in for parking. In entering the moat we were welcomed and taken to our seat. The waitress we had was both polite friendly and very bubbly .our food we served quickly and was absolutely delicious and different members of staff very friendly and helpful it was quite busy as it was St Patrick’s day and the menu reflected that and the staff were busy but you would never of known that as staff super helpful even on paying the bill our waitress was a credit to the pub chatting and wishing us a pleasant evening , and on leaving again all staff members thanked us and were super lovely can’t recommend this pub more highly (and yes we did tell the manager and all staff concerned how wonderful they all were).

I previously took in a cake to be brought out after the meal!! This was completely forgotten about so I actually went back for it after we left!! We spent a lot of money but one lady member of staff did t do her job. Very disappointed….took then some time to evan locate the birthday cake!!

The food was the absolute best, service was excellently friendly and the atmosphere was delightful.My son and daughter-in-law treated me to a our very 1st visit to The Moat.All-in-all our experience was absolute perfection and we're really looking forward to returning very soon, in fact we've already made our next reservation! ?

After a long journey we found this pub on Google and they squeezed us in with about 15 mins notice. The pub was busy but the staff were friendly and the food was really tastyDietary restrictions: Cater well for gluten and dairy intolerances. The menu is clearly marked with available dishes and which have an alternative

Fantastic food . Friendly staff and even though it was a saturday night and they had a wedding reception the service was great . Just remember to put your car reg in the machine as you go in to avoid getting a parking fine.
