Unfortunately the Fondue starter was got wrong twice first coming with just 4 prices of bread for a sharing starter worth £17. After notifying the waiter we then got the rest of the fondue but the fondue bowl had been taken away (it was cold). After 10mins we still didn't have a replacement fondue and After eating some of the dipping items we told the server to just move onto the main course due to the dipping food now being cold. Credit to the staff they provided a complimentary drink and removed the starter from the bill. The salmon rissoto and Calzone pizza made up for the earlier errors and were lovely.

Went for lunch with family on a Sunday. Had my daughter not booked a table, I would not have eaten there. Although it was early in the day, and not busy, the toilet area smelt appalling and was in dire need of a thorough clean. A pity, because otherwise it was a pleasant venue. Food and service were OK, but nothing special. Wouldn't go back, unless it improves its hygiene standards.

My husband I visited on a Sunday night - it was very quiet in the restaurant but we still enjoyed our meal. Friendly service and the food we had was very nice - I had a half and half pizza and my husband had a beef and venison stew - we also shared pasta chips and a garlic bread - all very yum.

Waitress was friendly to start with but became obvious at 9 that she wanted to go home . Coffee machine had been turned off and kitchen was closed so after eating we were unable to have coffee or dessert . Waitress was blase and just retorted that 9was on the website as closing time . Zizzi lost out on us purchasing desserts coffees and more wine we were a table of 6 also we will not be returning . Shame as food was good .

Staying I'm Sevenoaks for the weekend. Had planned to eat here 2 nights. Didn't go back after the first night - Friday September 29th. Food nice enough. Pizza and Lasagne. Waiter a bit odd. Curt and abrupt. Asked for dessert menu. Chose one. Ordered. Response. 'We haven't got that'. Nothing said when menu given. No apology. Just stood there. Said we wouldn't bother. Finished drinks. Asked for bill. Gave him cash. Roughly £6 change due. As I gave him the money no thank you. Just an abrupt 'Do you want the change?'.... Too right I did. Usually tip, but didn't. 10 minutes later I was wordlessly given my change. Went elsewhere on Saturday which we hadn't planned.

Amazing service and such a great food! My friend came over so we went to Zizzi for dinner. Had garlic bread as a starter and then pizzas. Great presentation and very lovely service!

We were a group of three couples, out for a meal and a catch up. The food was really good (we’ve all been to a Zizzi’s before and always enjoyed the food). If only I could say the same for the service we experienced. I’ve worked in restaurants for many years and I completely understand it can be a stressful and high pressured job at times. However, our waiter was something else! He couldn’t even muster up a smile. He came across as rude, arrogant and started to make us all a bit agitated as we were being nothing but polite. When my friend’s marshmallow dessert came out without marshmallows… she politely asked where they were. His response along with a shrug ‘apparently we’ve run out…!’, no apology or offer to ask the kitchen. After asking his colleague about the missing marshmallows, she kindly came out with a whole bowlful? So whether or not he was being lazy, smarmy, incompetent or just being a plain idiot, I’m not sure? On top of that he then bought over the wrong bill and charged my friend double what he was supposed to owe. When we told him he’d charged us wrong and even told him the maths to rectify his mistake, it then took THREE employees to work out a simple subtraction sum. It took 20 minutes before my fiancée and another of my friends went over to offer help. They were then met with ‘I’m just a waiter, I can’t work it out’. This guy really needs to be fired or at least spoken to about his attitude. We all kept our composure and kept as polite as possible but still there was NO apology and were just treated like nuisances. We all left angry and it just spoilt our evening. Awful awful awful service! Never again thanks!
