“A beautiful old pub with a lovely warm welcome.To see a pub open at 12 on a Tuesday and have a regular crowd attend is a joy to see.Even though we weren't locals, the staff were extremely welcoming, and the food served was delicious.The pub itself had loads of original features and a gorgeous open fireplace that was warming on a winters afternoon.Will definitely pop in again if passing.”

“Came in Tuesday, with my wife we ordered chicken wellington - Chicken burger. Chicken wellington cooked to perfection very nice gravy to go along side. Chicken burger was perfect nicely toasted bun and bacon was crispy. Cleaned our plates definitely will be back. The server was quick and helpful.”
