We visited Woodchurch as a group of friends to celebrate my husband's birthday and knew we wanted to start with lunch in the local pub. The Six Bells was recommended by the owner of the holiday cottage. The landlady and waitress were very friendly and welcoming. There was a good choice of food and drinks on the menu and everyone enjoyed their meals. A beautiful old pub with a lovely warm welcome.To see a pub open at 12 on a Tuesday and have a regular crowd attend is a joy to see.Even though we weren't locals, the staff were extremely welcoming, and the food served was delicious.The pub itself had loads of original features and a gorgeous open fireplace that was warming on a winters afternoon.Will definitely pop in again if passing.

We live in the village and my Wife & I just love this place. We can't praise Katy and all of the staff enough. Went to the Thursday Steak Night last night, it really was the Best. Steaks cooked exactly as requested. Lovely Bottle of wine included in price of the meal, very reasonable price for such Great quality food.
