I have been coming to the Bay View for a number of years. Since Katie and her family have taken it over the atmosphere has changed 100%. It is nice to see staff loving their jobs and this shows when you are there.

“This is a very good pub for all the family including dogs. The landlord and landlady and bar staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The food is very good and very reasonably priced. They have a live band Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, with a karaoke on the last Friday off the month. It is a very spacious pub with loads of room inside and out. Compared to other pubs the drinks are very well priced too. This pub is one of my favourite pubs on the island. Keep up the good work Rob and Tanya.”

“The coppice pub do great food. Always piping hot. wich is what we want when having a roast dinner, the stuff are lovely, welcoming, and nothing is too much or hard for them very friendly and helpful, thanks very much Taylor for all you do for us and a big thanks to the rest of the hard working staff, never seems to disappoint us”

“Only had baguettes, reasonably priced and well filled. Service polite and friendly , nice clean tables. Not many people in but only 30 mins to close so quiet but have been past on occasions and no seats available. Will return”

“Food was amazing and large portions. Good value for money. Service was ok for a large group booking. Approx 40 of us split over 4 tables and each table ate seperately as the food was bought out in stages. Atmosphere was good. 1 thing that lets them down is the carpet is well overdue being replaced so if you stand for a few minutes you are then stuck to the carpet, equally if you sit to eat the chair is then well and truely stuck to the floor so getting back up was a challenge!

Parking: Small car park can be tight to park when busy.

Kid-friendliness: Children always welcome and lovely garden to let them play in.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible by wheelchair and disabled parking at the entrance.”
