Had a table booked for 6,30 having been to banks just after the new people took over l wasn't impressed. After returning tonight and giving it another try l must say the food was about first class, the scolops were cooked to perfection and having eaten fish and chips in my old local restaurant Smiths of Wapping what l had tonight my fish and chips were the best l have ever eaten the batter was perfection l highly recommend Banks and can't wait to return and sample more food.

For the 2nd year we picked Banks for our Christmas Team meal. There were 13 of us this year and everyone enjoyed the food, service and experience. We had a laugh with the guy drawing us in cartoon form. Restaurant was full with every table obviously having a great time. Highly recommend.

What a lovely restaurant, with superb food. Not the cheapest, nor was service the very quickest - which is kind of to be expected - but the food, and ambience, were superb. We had a great time!
