Booked for Mother's Day at 7pm.Had to wait as previous occupants of our table were still there. Provided with a special menu. Ordered prawn cocktail, no more left. Ordered roast beef, no more left. Offered asparagus soup. Yuk.Changed starters and both original and amended turned up. Kept being told " It's Mother's Day we ve done 400 meals". Not my problem if you cannot provide what's on the advertised menu dont post it. Very poor. Food ok but nothing special for the day. Had to query the bill as well. Great. Been there numerous times before and always good service and food. Well below par today. Think twice about returning.

Excellent waitress Clare W. I left my phone at home by mistake. Clare helped my wife download the Vintage Inns app onto her phone. That way we still got the discount price. Also very helpful and attentive in so many other ways. Really good place to eat.

Beautiful location. Food hugely disappointing. Ordered king prawn with choice of sides. Chose tzasiki, hummus, bean and grain salad with beetroot puree and bread. Didn't expect many prawns, but the side was derisory a teaspoon of hummus spread with back of spoon on plate and bean salad consisting of around 5 beans, when I expressed my disappointment to the waitress she said sorry its measured out..........really.. ??I will never return for the food and cannot recommend it to anyone else. BTW two of us had the same with a drink each came to over £54 appalling.
