I booked our local pub “The Chequersll” for 19 of us on the 5th December, for Christmas Lunch. We wasn’t Disappointed, food piping hot and delicious, they enjoyed it so much they want to go again. The staff including the chef are lovely friendly and welcoming nothing too much trouble. My husband and I visit on Sundays for the roast dinners which are delicious with loads of meat and vegetables. If your passing give it a a try
Lovely staff and food as always ! We visit frequently , we are always met with a smile from the girls behind the bar and with fantastic homemade food too . Thank you keep up the good work guys

Great pub that used to be my local many years ago. Victoria is a lovely host and keeps the pub quirky whilst offering good well kept beers and various bar snacks. Only downside was the lack of people in the pub while we were there which is sad to see as it’s a nice place to drink.
