“I found this to be a very nice pub and the food was really good for the price.Public wasn't rowdy , quite pleasant really.Service was ok , I'm assuming that they were very busy as waiting for the drinks order with our meal ( I thought they had forgotten us) also we was waiting for ordering the puddings after and this was a bit of a wait that we changed our minds ( over 25 minutes)I would definitely go again.I don't think anyone would be disappointed.”

“The service was great friendly the food was really nice...thought the sides were a bit over the top on price...( bar snacks ).The room was fine the only thing was the bath had not been washed out...had to do that myself... but the bathroom must been seen ....take your skies ....but that is apart of staying in history.....”

“Had a fabulous last minute stay at The White Lion.Enjoyed a delicious pizza and a couple of pints in the bar. The staff were all lovely and friendly.My room was large, spotlessly clean and had a big bay window.The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet.Slept like a log!Currently enjoying a coffee from the Nespresso machine in the room whilst catching up on some paperwork, the Wi-fi works!!!!”
