The service is the best and such friendly people too. We always leave with a smile. Always try go to one of their music events night as their set menu is always great too.

Unit 1, Manor Row, High St, TenterdenFirst time for me here. Seems to be a very nice cafe, with polite and helpful staff. Good amount of room. Coffee and scone were very nice. The scone was unusual, cheese, chives and marmite. Couldn't really taste the chives or marmite, but a very nice scone nevertheless.

122 High St, TenterdenVery pleasant tea shop in the centre of Tenterden. We visited at lunchtime. They sell a good selection of sandwiches, rolls baguettes and savouries. We had tuna and egg mayonnaise baguettes. Both were well filled and the coffee was good. Prices were reasonable.Well worth a visit.

4 E Cross, TenterdenStubbles upon this place on a visit to Tenterden, the food and drink is excellent and who wouldn't want to be in the cheerful, friendly, busy but not crowded. They were accommodating with slight changes to the adult menu for my slightly fussy teen. Nothing bad to say.

The Latte Lounge
Unit 2-3, Coombe House, Coombe Ln, TenterdenWe got the Latte Lounge to do the catering for my Nans funeral. We chose the "End of life" cold buffet. It was absolutely spot on, delicious sandwiches, gorgeous savoury pastries, scotch eggs and more.... All freshly homemade. There was plenty to feed everyone! The amount of people that commented on how fabulous the food tasted (which was many) was the result of the professionalism of Sharen and her team. Thank you for taking care of us xx

128 High St, TenterdenPurchased some Christmas chocolate - a santa, Xmas pudding with truffles, and a seasonal slab - given as a gift, but I know the recipient will enjoy them as he asks for your chocolate every year!! Oh also 2 hot chocolates - delicious, best ever!

2n6 Sweet Shop
26 Ashford Rd, Tenterden2n6 sweets is such a great shop with a fantastic selection of sweets. They also host really fun parties. My daughter had her 10th Birthday party there and she had the best time, they each made a wreath out of their chosen pick and mix sweets. Sarah made the girls feel so welcome and the experience really special and a whole lot of fun!

St Michaels Fish & Chips
Ashford Rd, St Michaels, TenterdenWe literally just finished the best cod and chips we’ve had in at least a decade or more. They were perfect!. Super fresh fish, light and moist with a light, perfect crispy, golden batter. Packed with flavour. The chips were faultless! Crispy and golden, not at all greasy and light fluffy in the middle. I cooked a lot of fish and chips in my youth and producing the perfect chip is an art many fail at. But they have got it spot on. Will definitely be back… trouble is we both ate far more than we should because it was so moreish. So we’re going to have to burn off a few 1000 calories first. But a very good problem to have :-)

76 High St, TenterdenWe visited for lunch this afternoon, it's really rare for us to eat out nowadays as my son has additional needs and struggles in busy places. I requested a quieter space for him with space for his pushchair if he wanted to get back into it, the staff were really friendly and accommodating. We ended up having 3 courses and each plate was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is lovely and has a pleasant warm feel. The food came quickly and our table was cleared in good time after each plate. Would definitely recommend and will visit again when we are back in the area. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

The White Lion
High St, TenterdenStayed here whilst seeing my father who was staying in the area was throughly impressed with the place, team members were friendly, food was incredible (very surprised) had both dinner and breakfast here and full compliments to the kitchen team and management. The room was nice as well though the mattress was a tad firm for my liking (just a preference not gonna knock off a star for that). Really lovely property will definitely stay again.

43 High St, TenterdenWent here for dinner as was staying nearby. Really lovely atmosphere and cute decor with wood fire, though I'd say front area/bar is nicer than the back. The staff are so so lovely, polite, and helpful. The service was very good and quite speedy. Food was absolutely delicious and I was particularly impressed by how tasty the wine was. Only criticism is that the portions of food are a bit small for the price and I wouldnt say it was filling. There is a 10% service added to the bill which we expected with a nice restaurant, and didn't mind at all since service was great.Parking: There's a car park 5 min walk away which is free after 6pm on Saturdays (waitrose car park)
