For reasons unspecified half the seating area is "currently out of use" at 2pm. Asked if I could enter the forbidden zone which had numerous small tables. Instead told I had to sit at the only free table which had 6 seats, which seemed very silly given I was on my own. They always do this and I don't get why they would rope off half the seating in the middle of the day. Everything else is standard Costa really.

Worst Costa I’ve been to. Two people serving and only one person being served in front of me but had to wait 5 minutes while a member of staff swept the floor behind the counter with no apology for the wait. Bap was over cooked and they carrot cake was dry, coffee wasn’t usual standard and after sitting down had to go back for the milk for the tea as it wasn’t on the tray after asking for it. Staff looked fed up in general, terrible customer service. Such a shame as the seating etc was nice.

Service so slow, manager super rude. Not only to staff but customers as well. She barked a couple of orders out to a customer and rolled her eyes after slamming the drinks down on the counter. When I finally got my iced drinks (luckily they were cold!!) there was sticky syrup all down the side of one cup and the lid came off another spilling down me. No serviettes to clean up and no cup holder was given. Given how long I was waiting for 3 drinks and how rude the manager was I didn’t even want to ask for these extras! Definitely would not recommend this branch in Cannon Lane

Very disappointed have been coming to this location for a long time and although most of the staff are friendly it just seems like there is not enough of them. Constant handwritten notes on door saying takeaway cups only or closing early. We arrived today hour before closing and 75% of the inside was cordoned off obviously so staff can get away early but that’s quite cheeky considering they were already closing early anyways. While sitting there with family the staff them are waking around in jumpers bringing in chairs from Outside making us feel rushed and made to feel like they wanted us out. The fridge had no stock in it sandwiches left on side my partner bought three of them and asked for them to be warmed up to be told no we can’t do that it’s been shut down ? 45 mins before closing I might add. The manager needs serious issues sorting out. It’s a very busy location why is it being run like this ?

No internet, they haven’t had internet for months now. Terrible that a large company like Costa doesn’t care enough to sort this out for their customers who want to have a coffee (or 3) while working. I am finding somewhere else

we use this costa regularly and staff are always friendly place is immaculate (toilets too) coffee is always consistent (burnt beans ) this shop has never burnt the beans highly recommend

Coffee machine broken no hot drinks asked for a porridge with milk given one with water asked for milk and was told I couldn't as it was vegan .explained I wasnt but they said the cant cross contaminate ..after asking for the manager he said you can have a normal one which I did PC gone mad and customer service very poor
We went on the 23rd Jan 2022.\\nThis coffee shop is clean compared to other Costa coffee shops we have been too.\\nI would like to say the man making the coffee that day ,took his time and made a good coffee.
