“We stayed for 2 nights initially attracted because it is built around a cave! However, this up market pub is so good on so many levels; boutique rooms, really good generous portions of food, great bees and staff that genuinely care about their customers and with a smile on their faces.”

“I love this place, and I've been there a few times now. Great beer, brewed on site. They also do some amazing cocktails too. The staff take time to talk with you. If you like beers, this is the place to go. You can even get your drinks there and sit in the garden of the George inn next door. How cool is that. Or sit upstairs where they have a snug.”

“Recommended, nice room, nice food, nice staff.My wife and I stayed here Friday night. The room was nice and spacey with all the mod cons you would expect. The pub was loverly with a wide range of drinks and alcohol, my wife loved the Gin list. The food was excellent, well cooked and well priced. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were superb.We will revisit and bring friends, I really enjoyed our time here.”
