Once staff had sussed out we were not hotel inspectors things quietened down. The reception found our booking quickly, and soon found ourselves in a spacious room with a poor view outside. The supper was good, and breakfast generous. All staff were friendly and helpful. We were spoilt at Mercure Warwick with gardens and walks; not alot to do outside hotel.

I was a little hesitant when making the booking and my wife and I were unsure of what to expect after reading some of the reviews of this hotel. We need not have worried! The hotel is set in nice grounds with plenty of parking. We were greeted pleasantly and allocated a Privilege Room on the first floor. The room was nicely decorated and well aired upon arrival. The prime example of Hotel Customer service done right. Staff always available on demand, working their absolute best to provide what's needed instantly, hiccup in the number of towels per room but were immediately given plenty of extras and apology - can't blame them it was the default number per room. Lovely place, area, bed, pool n spa, and breakfast. Had a delightful roam around the perimeter at night and felt so safe.Thank you for your amazing hospitality
