Just need some new or clean screens. Movies always look "dirty"

First time I've ever been to this odeon and loved it! I went with my wife on release day to watch the new ghostbusters for the 8:30 booking. We ordered tickets online and got booked in with ease! The food options were easy to order on screen. Staff super friendly, we got a sofa seating, which was really comfortable. Will definitely choose this cinema for future releases ??

Great cinema! Well appointed screens and a wide selection of food. They now have comfortable sofas in some of the main screen rooms

We were in screen one. The sound system was on point, but the state of the screen ruined the experience. It had a dirty, mottled effect on it. I don't know if these screen need replacing or cleaning, but as we were watching a bright film (Dune part 2) it was very noticeable. The staff at the front were friendly, and the toilets were nice and clean. The sofa seats are very big with plenty of leg room, but personally, as a 6'2" man, I found them uncomfortable for such a long film. I preferred the old premium seats.

Screen 1 is really low quality. We went to see Dune part two and it was like watching on a TV with screen burn.

I like the staff there. Friendly and helpful. But the cinema is out of town and there are no restaurants there so you have to drive and can’t make a night of it. Also, the pummels to help mobility challenged people are often at the wrong end of the rows. Worst though, and recently, they don’t dim the lights as much as Vue or other Odeons. I still can’t get used to sitting in the light. The transition into the big screen experience doesn’t happen. At Greenwich Odeon you need a torch to find your seat. At Stratford Vue there are no houselights except for the green fire exit signs. At TW you can’t settle into a film as you are waiting for the lights to go off and or doesn’t happen properly. You can read in there if the film is boring.

Pros:- Friendly staff who are welcoming on arrival. We asked if we could buy the last remaining item, which was on display at the front, and they happily let us. So very helpful!- Comfortable seats and a large screen, better than most cinemas!- Plenty of toilets- Plenty of parkingImprovements:- Given nearly all of the nearby restaurants have closed, the food options feel limited if you don't want sweets. We arrived for an 11:40 film and didn't want any sweets or hot dogs, and so we sat through the film hungry. Perhaps some more regular savoury food would be better? Even a selection of small sandwiches for the daytime viewers?

Really nice cinema in every way… except where it actually counts. The screen felt so dated - like just watching a slightly bigger TV.But worst of all are the seats. No real leg room, the seats became uncomfortable over time, and the arm rests are too short to lean on, with cup holders that dig into your arms the whole time.I was genuinely in pain by the end of the film.A real shame, as the building is presented well, friendly staff, all seems really nice! But if you can’t enjoy the actual film then what are you paying for…?

My cinema of choice. Best in area by far. Lovely staff, clean facilities. Good parking.

Out of town cinema with plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Major issue for me was the extremely poor screen quality in Screen 1 - there for the 1pm screening of Wonka on opening day (8 Dec 23).I noticed during the adverts & trailers that there were very visible yellowy blotches on the screen which were visible whenever there was a light-coloured image and very visible when a white image was shown. I know it was not the quality of the projection as the blotches and marks remained static on the screen regardless of the moving images - therefore the visual imperfections were 'baked in' to the screen itself. I suspect the screen may be dirty from dust (needs a hoover) or potentially water damaged? Either way, it completely spoiled the screening for me especially as the opening scenes of Wonka were very light in colour and the issue, first visible in the trailers and adverts, persisted into the main feature and repeatedly took me out of the film iself. Please, please sort this out. As a film lover, I cannot understand how cinema staff have not spotted this issue and taken steps to correct it. Photos taken during the adverts do not adequately portray how visually awful the screen looked for real.UPDATE 19 Dec 23: Have raised a complaint with Odeon Customer Service and have not had any kind of response or acknowledgement. Removing a further star.
