We celebrated our son’s 18th birthday with family and his friends. The staff were friendly and attentive; the food was delicious and delivered on time. Everything ran smoothly and a fun time was had by all!Vegetarian options: The shaggy is a tasty vegetarian option.Dietary restrictions: There are options for people with nut allergies.Parking: There is parking opposite the venue.Kid-friendliness: Our party was a group of 17-18 year old boys!

The vintage room was just perfect for celebrating my little ones birthday along side my own. The space was great, loved being able to put some pictures up on the projector. Service was brilliant, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything was so easy to organise and overall very stress free.

Entering the bar was pleasant, the staff seem nice, if not a little bit bored. Which is surprising as there's a great deal of cleaning to be done in the mens toilets. The entire room smelled like 6 month old rotting fish. It was such a strong odour I nearly threw up several times. Unbearable. After this our food arrived, worrying quickly. Around 6-7 minutes after we'd ordered it. It was presentable. However, this is where the positivity ends. The burger was generic, mushy and impossible to eat. Lacking flavour and packed with grease. The cajun fries seemed to be dressed with caster sugar? Whether this was mistake from the chef or intended, it was disgusting. I also think charging people £5 for a coke is actually robbery, for me it was more of a £20 coke as after leaving my "food", the plates were cleared and the staff didn't seem interested as to why the entire dish was left uneaten. I guess they're used to it?The decor is nice... Struggling to think of any other redeeming features... I can't. Best avoid the place ?

Very busy on a Saturday night, decided not to stay for food as it was difficult to get a good table (only on bar stools). The place was very cosy but the surfaces had that sticky pub feel. Cosy, friendly.vube overall.

Good Sunday offer and enjoyed your burgers before but this time I waited over 45 mins for my order and it didn't show up. Too slow!

Overpriced food for what we got but no complaints whatsoever.

Incredible - we hired the Vintage Room for free and they were so kind. Let us use the speakers in the room, quick service and packed away/cleared up for us. So so kind!

Burgers have gone downhill. I was a repeat visitor because the burgers used ot be the best in town but a long way. They used to be hand made on the premises with good texture patties. Tonight though couldn't have been more disappointed. Burgers were on a par with frozen burgers purchased from Iceland. Come on St.John's Yard, why change recipe that everyone likes and gets good reviews, just to make another couple of quid. Shan't be going back until the old burgers are back, sorry.
