“Popped into the Nevill Bull for lunch. It's everything you want from a local pub, great selection of food which doesn't disappoint! Pints at a fair price and a great atmosphere.

Gastropubs • “Overall really lovely meal had here. It started off confusing, as to enter the restaurant there are multiple rooms you can go into and no staff to greet you at the door. We made our way to the bar and were looking for someone to seat us as we had made a reservation but staff behind the bar avoided eye contact until a manager came out which was a bit strange. Once seated, the server forgot about us and we had to ask if we could order after waiting for about 15 mins to order a drink. Our server did apologise and was really friendly afterwards. The food was brilliant and huge portions. Overall not a bad experience - maybe the staff were just having an off day. We will definitely give it another go.”
“This to my mind is and has been for last few years the best pub in town area Really nice and cozy with good friendly service. Outdoor seating at both front and back. Great choice real ales, lagers and ciders. Open all day Thursdays through Sundays. Mondays to Wednesdays opens 4pm. Excellent brunch style menu at reasonable prices. At moment food available all day Thursday/Friday & on Saturday 5-9pm. Hopefully they will extend to all day Saturdays at sometime & maybe bring back Sunday food which they did at one time.”
