“We came here because of its reputation with mussels. We weren’t disappointed overall. The mussels are so plump, juicy and plentiful. We had 4 different sauces, but the photos ended up all looking the same! What I liked was the sauce was full of herbs and finely chopped vegetables, really generous. The sauces were pretty good, but there are too many to choose from.
The scallop starter was really tasty and soft, with a beautiful tasting sauce. The fried whitebait was also good. The squid was a little on the overcooked side, but entirely satisfactory.
The desserts, apart from the creme brûlée (which was as you would want it, crispy top and really smooth vanilla custard) were underwhelming. The pancakes were cold (not sure why) and the raspberry tart tasted overly sweet and just not very nice, with less than mediocre pastry.
You can’t go wrong with the seafood.”
