The George has a niche, predominantly middle age men, some of whom seem a little lost! I think the pub serves a purpose, particularly midweek for this demographic. Weekends are more vibrant, as there is generally music on.

Honestly, one of the friendliest, most vibrant, pubs you could ever wish to visit! Fantastic variety of beers, wonderful food prepared with love and an unflinchingly friendly bar staff. If you're in Tunbridge Wells, put it on your 'must visit' list. Sunday lunch is especially superb!
