Went for lunch with friends and had a very tasty shepherd's pie. There is a great choice on the lunchtime menu, in fact I had real difficulty in deciding what to go for! The George is a real village pub with a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.

Big portions and very enjoyable.Steak and ale pie was superb ?.I just about managed it myself.3 main meals 3 puddings and a bottle of red wine plus 10% tip £110. A lot of money for some people but, good value when the meals are great ?

Had Sunday lunch here while visiting my Brother who lives nearby. What a a little gem. Very friendly welcome. Food was wonderful and huge portions. You won't go hungry here. Will definitely return.Parking: Plenty of room when we arrived

Another lovely visit with our dog. Food tasted great as always. Found however this time it was a bit pricey. Nearly £20 for a chicken shish salad and a haloumi salad. Not really worth that price to be honest but we are on a diet. The seafood salad is worth the money however. Service always

First visit today, and will not be out last…. Best Sunday roast I have had in a restaurant ( and we have eaten in lots). All staff very pleasant and attentive. Will definitely be recommending to all friends and family. Look forward to our return visit.

I went here for lunch with my friends and some dogs. I really enjoyed the food and thought it was good value. The service was friendly and the lady went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy and looked after.Parking: Plenty of space, well organised and easily accessible car park

Everything about this place was epic!Great service and amazing food.Only one problem I ate too much and had to take a nap when I got home. Was it worth it!? 100%.The Lamb and mint pie was the best pie I've had in ages!My husband got a retro 1970s prawn cocktail had food envy at this point but my starter of dips were fantastic too.Highly recommend this place!I'll definitely be returning!Parking: Parking at the pub no issue getting a spaceKid-friendliness: Playground in garden, kids menu really good.Wheelchair accessibility: Saw spaces for wheelchairs
