First visit to this really nice place and it won'tbeour last.Very friendly staff who make you feel like a regular and make you very welcome. We had a truly very enjoyable lunch, and the homemade burgers are an absolute must. These ? are 5 stars and at an extremely reasonable price.Parking: A few parking spaces, but it is in an area that is perfect for walkers because of the woods, etc, at the rear of the property.

I visited this reopened pub on Saturday, I initially came in for a few ales but got tempted to go for food. When I ordered food a few people in the pub looked at me in a rude way and one young lad was even laughing, I felt abit intimidated but still got my meal. The pie and chips was literally a microwave job some Aldi beef pie with uncooked chips, normally I would’ve complained but due to the unfriendly vibe I decided to just leave. This is not a family environment loads of men throwing darts and often missing the board being a health hazard to children and someone nearly took one of their mates eye out with the pool cue and just laughed it off Maybe I visited on a bad day which is unlucky but this just feels like a booze up. I work in health and safety so can’t help but get annoyed every few seconds as this is a health and safety nightmare. The place did smell strange like a mixture of old ale and vape pens of some sort. Won’t be returning in a hurry.

Great evening with friends last night, Terry and Mike are a great team and the food was fantastic.

Turned up last night to find it's now a 'private member's club. Door firmly shut with an unfriendly sign on it, listing a website that I'd hoped would provide info about membership, but the website doesn't (yet) exist. Security camera doorbells. All very dodgy. Presumably this will facilitate an argument that the business has failed in order to become a private residence.

No longer a family friendly pub, a private member's club like that's needed! Waste of time visit.

My friend and I stayed there overnight, and we couldn't recommend this place more! The pub is lovely and has a large outdoor area. The food is excellent, even the vegetarian options. Bonus point for the owner's cute dog! The rooms were brand new (had just been refurbished), clean and very comfortable. Towels, shampoo, coffee / tea amenities, and TV were included. A clear 10/10!
