One of my favourite seaside restaurants and so glad they survived lockdown. Feel the cancellation policy is a little unwelcoming as it’s a 50 mile drive for us but appreciate than many people just don’t show up.Great menu and difficult to know what to pick. Food comes as and when it’s ready as it’s freshly prepared. The Indian spiced Chickpeas where prefect as were the deep fried prawns. Chargrilled chilli squid was a little chewy for me but the mutton and feta koftas were a good choice.

I must say the quality of the foods were amazing. All fishes were fresh and so yummy.Aubergine and courgettes were so well made and fabulous.

Came here for my birthday on a recent visit to Whitstable. The food is excellent, all really fresh and delicious. We had the meze to share, lots of different and interesting flavours and a world apart from other mezes we've tried. It's a lovely spot right by the sea, the staff are super friendly and helpful and there's a really great atmosphere. We will definitely come back on our next visit, it's advisable to book.

Great restaurant in the perfect location, on top of a hill with sea views. Mediterranean meze, large boards to share or you can choose individual dishes, every dish we had was delicious. Definitely worth a visit, but, recommend to pre book a table as very popular

Came for lunch with my husband. The restaurant is located in tankerton which is a lovely walk from whitstable harbour. Ample free parking in the road. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and plentiful. We had 4 plates between the two of us which was perfect leaving just enough room for the delicious baklava and cinnamon ice cream.

Stunning food, stunning staff. The entire experience was A1. Got a table on the off chance. It's like the tardis. From the outside it looks small but inside is huge and beautifully designed. A lovely bar area and views of the sea. The sharing platters, as well as individual, tapas style, dishes are superb. We had salads, cured meats, fish and oh the cheese! Eat out a lot, everywhere, and this place holds it's own amongst the best I've ever eaten. Please don't go as next time I may not get a table.

We make the journey down from North West Kent as and when we can, food is fresh and love the seasonal board which shows support to local sources. The sole is simply stunning. Staff are so welcoming and warm and pay especial attention to be the kids. Well run family feel restaurant don't change the recipe!

We had an absolutely amazing experience lunching in this place. We couldn’t book a table in advance but we came anyway and got a table outside. The selection of food was excellent. There were daily specials tapas dishes and main dishes. Great selection, very different to what you usually get. We also had desserts that were great too.

We all loved this place. Went for midweek lunch and the food was amazing. The gnocchi is out of this world, and there is so much great food! The service is very good, and the ambience is lovely.

First day in Whitstable and we landed on our feet, big time with the first of three restaurants recommended to us. Excellent information and communication from one of the Jos pre meal. We arrived to find an outside table with shade especially reserved for us and our dog. Water immediately provided for our dog and cocktails for us. Great start, everyone happy!! Staff and Jo so friendly and accommodating making us feel like valued customers from the start. Stunning food, beautifully presented by lovely, helpful staff. Royally treated and can't wait to come back. Many thanks Jo and team for making our first experience of Whitstable a highly positive one.

The food was excellent, really excellent - but if the service isn’t great this can detract from a delicious meal. However, the staff at Jojo’s are friendly, happy, smiley and attentive even when they got really busy. You must go here - but book in advance - No 1 on trip advisor means they are busy! Oh, and the view!

Nice atmosphere, staff friendly - food tasty. Unfortunately at the end of the meal I didn't check my bill carefully enough and was overcharged £10 for half mixed meze (paying £45 rather than advertised £35). Despite sending details of my complaint including copy of bill to restaurant three times I have heard nothing.

Wanted to visit here having read all the fabulous reviews and from several recommendations from friends who have visited Whitstable. We parked at the Castle and having had a walk around that we strolled along the coast to JoJo's which was about a 20 min walk. On a beautiful sunny May afternoon it was gorgeous. We arrived 25 mins before our booking but this wasn't a problem. The welcome we received was so warm and friendly. Our table was perfect - right beside the window overlooking the coast. Every single member of staff was lovely and that makes such a difference. All the food was fresh and homemade - the fish goujons were delicious as were the famed potato bravos! We throughly enjoyed our lunch (reasonably priced too). Would definitely recommend a visit. Thanks to all for a really wonderful experience.

Great food at realistic prices. Friendly staff. A bit noisy as there were a few noisy large parties.
