We had a function at this lovely pub today for a large number of people and we were so impressed! The staff are amazing, very polite, attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Our family were very impressed and I would highly recommend to anyone. 5* all round xParking: Plenty of parking availableKid-friendliness: Very accommodating to children, obviously all children should be supervised but they were amazing.

We popped in for Sunday Carvery today, as we were passing. It was mid afternoon and very quiet.Received a very warm welcome and looked forward to the food. The joints of Turkey, Beef and Pork looked good but the vegetables were very dry and tasteless, as were the stuffing balls and potatoes. The only thing I could actually taste was the cranberry sauce. Rather disappointing, especially at £14.95 each. Not a touch on a Toby Carvery and I never thought I'd find myself saying that.

I visited this lovely pub for a Macmillan fundraiser day. It was a really friendly pub, with great staff and a lovely atmosphere. I had a burger and chips which was very tasty and nicely presented. Looking forward to visiting again.

The outside doesn't do the interior justice. Beautifully renovated inside but with its original character.Lovely landlord, food and also a bonus of a wonderful garden with children's play area. Well worth a visit and reasonably priced.Kid-friendliness: Children welcome ?Parking: Great parking

What a dump was so embarrassed took my family for lunch, sat in the garden recommended by landlord amongst weeds, garden tools and piled up broken table and benches. The staff serving Cauvery didn’t appear to follow hygiene protocol ie gloves hairnet etc and we’re still trying to work out what they they plated up for me as a roast potato.
