I bought chicken legs from this store, and when I opened the casserole, I was hit by a strong rancid smell!!! Even though the expiration date was later, it had such a strong smell that I went to vomit. chicken, the same thing, strong rancid smell, spoiled, the first time I thought it was me, but when my girlfriend also happened to her... Terrible! Because the prices are so expensive, everything is excessively expensive, it's also spoiled... If you don't want to end up in the hospital, don't buy meat from that place, NEVER! Shame!

Usually a relatively nice shop(although wouldnt advise getting the precooked food it doesnt taste very nice and even the sausages have a strange plasticy texture and taste a bit metallic in my opinion ) but had a bad experience today where the blonde girl at the desk was very rude i put it down to her having a bad day i work in customer service i know how it is sometimes but then she asked if i wanted my receipt i said yeah ok she asked again and im like yeah why not. Im not sure if she wanted me to beg for it but she bid me a good day without giving me my receipt and moved onto the next customer. Shocked and confused i went to see my mum and the girl with the dark hair was actually really nice to my mum i felt so unlucky to have the rude one serve me.

Absolutely lovely shop nice friendly staff always helpful and cheery especially the old women it’s got everything you need from daily essentials to cheeky coffee and banging chicken burgers and if your really feeling extra it’s even got slushy just ask for a vodka to mix in…. Who said you can’t live life on the edge in Accrington!

Staff members wearing mask over mouth but not their nose. Stood too close to customers, then another member of staff asking a customer why they're not wearing a mask.. Queues are always long. If the staff got on with their jobs instead of yapping there wouldn't be such big queues

Went into the spar garage tonight only to witness one staff member wearing gloves which is very appropriate at this time, but then to use hand sanitiser (gloves still on) before and after every customer like its going out of fashion is disgraceful as people who need it can't get it, she also decides what you are buying is essential or not. Power crazed lady..

If you have 20 minutes to waste call in for a paper. There will be 1 person serving and the other 5 will be stood in 1 of the isles taking to eash other about the night before and watch for being short changed
