Hyndburn Rd, AccringtonI'm a few days late with this feedback. I visited the Acorn with my sister early this week. I had previously visited and ate here before and had a lovely meal. So this time I had the mega mix grill which was awesome and my sister had the baked potatoes with prawn, which she thoroughly enjoyed too.So thank you Nathan for great service and the welcome, also thank you Hannah chef for the great food. Although the place is 20 something minutes of drive for me, but positive reviews and hunger for some good pizza took me there. The place was quite as it was around 6pm. The pizza selection was extensive . We tried Asian special and a margherita.I honestly have not eaten a better pizza anywhere in the area. These guys are a level above everyone. The crust, the dough, the quality of cheese , the sauces, everything is just perfect. Honestly, it's competitively priced considering the excellent quality. This is now my go to pizza place. The hype is real.

8 - 10 Church St, AccringtonJust been here for Christmas dinner,A member of staff greeted us as we walked in, And the The first thing what caught my eye was the presentation of the tables, They were lovely.Mince pies crackers and a Christmas card from the owners.A very lovely personal touch.As well as a chocolate Santa.The soup was home made and it was a bowl full,As for the meal there was so much of it,We didn't have any room for our pudding.So we ended up having to get a doggy bag.One of the staff also bagged up a piece of beef which i had left to take home for our cat Marley.I would definitely recommend.

The only downside I would say was it was slightly cold and the toilets could have been a little cleaner. But the service and food more than made up for it.

Food was excellent and in my opinion well priced. Party of 3 who all had different meals. The Park Inn, 68 Manchester Rd, AccringtonThe Park Inn is under new ownership and I wanted to try it. The interior has nhad a face lift and it looks nice. The staff were very welcoming and that was a huge plus. Food preparation took time but I think this was down to it being freshly prepared. This is good. The Mushroom Soup was delicious. I had Hunter's Chicken and it was nice and plentiful. The one negative is that the chicken didn't taste to be of the highest quality and it appeared to have been pumped with water. I will give this place another try before I form a final opinion

18 Dale St, AccringtonFood is great and prices are affordable. Staff are genuine unlike most places you go . Family run business with all happy staff . Staff don't mind changing items off certain dishes of there is any allergies or if a certain person does want a certain item ie tomatoes on a breakfast we where able to change it for another hash brown . As stated in a previous review they include a cheeseburger on the breakfast this is because they don't sell bacon as all the food is Halal but they are willing to change the item if a customer doesn't want it or it can be replaced with turkey bacon . We asked about the furniture being there whilst we where there a member of staff said it was to make the rent more affordable but the furniture isn't apart of the cafe . Overall we will be defo going back and being regular customers . Thanks

It's the only place in Oswaldtwistle where you can see scallops on the menu too. The service and atmosphere was excellent.

I have eaten when I have attended a do in the function room and the food as always been excellent. Its a lovely relaxed pub that gets lots of different people in, some with dogs some with children, walkers etc. The bar staff are always friendly and attentive.Kid-friendliness: As long as your children aren't feral, they are made very welcome. Reena is clean, friendly and personally no other Indian come close. And I've tried many. Keep what your doing for another 30 plus years ! Ate the food before I could take photos, drooling just at the smell. Delicious! Order you will not be disappointed.

70 Henry St, Church, AccringtonThe only problem was the young lad that served us , he didn't seem to listen and it wasn't that busy at the time. We wanted 2 baguettes but got some sort of T cakes, other than that the food here is usually very good.

Westend Fish & Chips
370 Blackburn Rd, Oswaldtwistle, AccringtonFirst time using Westend chip shop today.I have to say we really enjoyed it. The fish was a very good size, crispy batter not soggy inside like some chippy's. The chips were nice and well cooked.I can definitely recommend this chip shop to anybody in the Accrington, Oswaldtwistle area.
