Went for the bottomless brunch, it did start late and we had to either move the time or start late however the service made it all the worth while. Cam in particular, seen him there a few times and his customers service and overall persona is just amazing, love going in there just to get served by him!!

Lovely Saturday evening with friends and family drinks and food delicious ?. Lovely atmosphere staff very friendly and welcoming.
Beautiful cosy pub and restaurant very relaxed and enjoyable. Starters and mains very reasonable priced, food arrived very hot and delicious. Highly recommend will definitely be returning soon to this cosy gem.

White Bull, Oswaldtwistle

Not the first time we've been. Every time the food has been absolutely outstanding. Service is always on point and when busy the atmosphere is lovely but sometimes can be a bit close knit and ever so slightly overbearing. Would 100% reccomend the burger and or the steak Frittes! Worth a try

The Acorn

Beth is amazing can't fault her service and Sian the chef is a star get breakfast on a weekend honestly is great. We add a few extras to the breakfast platter and happily feed 2 adults and 2 kids and all of us have a decent appetite coffee and hot chocolate each and comes in just over 30 quid. Well worth the pennies

Had a lovely meal in here ... Service was good and the food was excellent. We did book a table in the bar Area but moved to the restaurant ... it was early evening and was a bit loud at the bar & language was a bit choice -However its a pub and we were happy in the Restaurant. Staff were so nice.

Village Pizzeria Restaurant

Me and the wife have been here twice now. Once with just the two of us and once with the grandson as well. They do a pretty decent pizza and garlic bread (the only thing my grandson tends to eat when we are out ? ) and the chicken fillet burger was excellent. On our first visit the wife did mistake the hot sauce for ketchup and despite my warning to try it separately first she just looked me dead in the eye and said “Kiel, it’s ketchup!” and proceeded to put on her chips. A decision she regretted quite quickly and led to me probably looking a little smug. On our next visit with the grandson she made sure she asked ?

Lovely little café with really good food and friendly, welcoming staff. Service was quick, everything tasted fresh, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Would definitely come back again.

Had the pleasure of popping in to pick up a meal for the family this evening, excellent food, service and reasonably priced. Easily the best chippy around Akky/Ozzy area and you would be mad not to try this “Plaice” out sometime, Thank you ??

I can’t fault Domino’s Accrington at all. From placing the order to collecting it, the whole experience was seamless. The team clearly take pride in what they do and provide a warm, courteous service that really stands out.
The order was prepared promptly and handed over without any delay, which is always appreciated. The pizzas themselves were cooked to perfection — full of flavour, fresh, and exactly what you hope for when ordering from a trusted name.
It’s refreshing to find a branch that consistently delivers high standards across the board. I’ll definitely be returning and would happily recommend this store to anyone in the area.

Had a great motorhome stopover at The Whitakers Arms. Received a warm welcome from Venessa & Jamie. The food was excellent and the pub had a warm, friendly atmosphere. Will definitely call again if in the area.

Griffin's Head

I absolutely love the griffins head and it’s quickly become my new local. All the staff are so attentive and welcoming, especially Chloe . The fish and chips and cheese pie(no potatoes!) are amazing, fresh ingredients and you can tell the difference.

Plantation Chippy & Chinese Takeaway

Just had large fish and chips from here this evening and I have to say that currently it’s the best fish and chips in Accrington. I’ve eaten in probably every chip shop/ takeaway in town over the years but the fish was absolutely delicious. Chips were also better than anywhere else in recent times. Not sure why I don’t go here more, probably because I have a chippy closer to me on Manchester Road. Excellent!!!

Ordered a chicken donner and a meat feast pizza and both were spot on.
The chicken donner was packed with flavour, loads of fresh salad and proper tasty sauces. You could tell everything was fresh and well made.
The meat feast pizza was heavy yo! Proper loaded with meat and cheese, nice crispy base and plenty of flavour. Definitely one of those pizzas that fills you up.

The Crafty Fox

What a fantastic place. We had the steak pie, one with chips and one with mash, both were superb. Veg cooked to perfection and the red wine gravy complimented the rest perfectly. The drinks selection is great, real ales, craft ales, bottles wine all at a reasonable price, can't recommend this place enough.

The Peel Park Hotel

Service was impeccable, turned up late but was made to feel so welcome. Had a lovely pie next to an open fire and didn't feel rushed to leave. Thanks guys, much appreciated and will definitely come again ??

A real hidden gem! We all had a wonderful time at dinner, and the pizza was easily one of the best we’ve ever tasted. The staff were fantastic—attentive, friendly, and full of great energy. My kids absolutely loved the pasta and ice cream too. We’ll definitely be recommending this place!

Th’Owd Stables

We went for breakfast this Saturday, its usually a bit later in the day and we get the lunch menu, which has some good basic dishes, late meat pie, liver and onions, potato pie and the like but this week we had the breakfast menu. \nI went for the cheese and ham omelette and we had the stable and the breakfast. \nEverybody enjoyed what they had with three very clean plates. \nThe place was a little bit quieter than usual but that was maybe because we were earlier. There seemed to be more staff on too which meant we were well looked after. \nI tried the banana milkshake as I’d decided it was too early for beer, I just went for the straight shake no cream or fancy stuff and it was really thick and creamy, just the job. \nWe rounded it off with coffees and it all came in less than £40 , so a good do all round.

Amazing beer selection, great staff, great music, great food. I have Coeliac and regularly eat here, never had an issue, which says a lot about the cleanliness and diligence of the chef and staff. 10/10.

I don’t often leave reviews but I feel so blessed to have found this place. I have gluten and other allergies and the chef was so accommodating and helpful, I have a lot of confidence in this place. There was also a pleasing amount of choice for me compared to other cafes. The staff are warm and friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant. It’s also very clean and comfortable and the cutlery was of a very good standard - these things matter! I will definitely come again when I’m next in the area. Thanks so much

Always banging food and lovely people. The breakfast before 3pm is always amazing and the kunafa is delicious, too. I dropped one star because I think they need to brush up on hygiene standards. As someone with strong OCD these things stand out glaringly to me.

Been for a pint over half a dozen times and it's always clean and welcoming and the atmosphere is lovely. Bar staff are always spot on, definitely a first choice of pub.

Was playing pool in local league, staff and other customers very welcoming, pub exactly what a village pub should be, super clean and well presented bar.Would happily pop in when out walking the pooch for a gill

I have been twice now for food. Once for a Sunday roast, couldn't fault a thing. Delicious! Second time for the steak and wine deal. 2 steaks and a bottle for £30 (bargain). My steak was cooked to perfection, so tender and full of flavour. Will definitely be recommending to everyone I know and I'll certainly be a returning customer going forward. Service also fantastic.

The best fish by a long way in Hyndburn. Nice & traditional eating area at the back with the owner Diane always makes you feel welcome. They also cater for anyone with challenging behaviour & special needs of which I regularly bring my friend Brandon there. Its his favourite day out ! Thank you to all the team at this Chippy.

Just eaten from here, absolutely wonderful. Papaya salad was gorgeous. My partner had yellow curry which was mild but packed with flavour and we got a noodle dish which was lovely. Defo gonna try the whole menu. Its a must if you get the chance and anybody local should make it a regular stop.

The customer service at Village Pizzeria Accrington was absolutely amazing. Farhan really stood out – not only was he welcoming and polite, but he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. His warm smile and friendly personality made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to come across someone who treats customers with such genuine care and positivity. Definitely recommend!

Cafe Ri-An

A warm welcome, excellent food and great value for money awaits you at this delightful cafe in the heart of Accrington.

We've been before but chose to visit again as a vital pitstop on our way to our destination.

Jam packed on arrival (usually a good sign), but we were offered bar stools to wait and essential coffees, which certainly hit the spot.

Not long to wait for a table (say 10 mins) - as soon as one became available the efficient staff quickly cleared it and we were on our way.

As I'm calorie-counting dieting I plumped for the Small Breakfast, not least as it features a piece of fried bread, which turned out to be a real highlight. The plate was nicely presented with a pot of chopped tomatoes (or beans). Also of note was the back bacon, which was nice butchers thick cut, but everything was tasty.

Service was excellent. All staff were welcoming and all smiled. They also all seem to be constantly on the go.

This small venue is clean and well laid out. A variety of interesting art adorns the walls (photo next time) making for a pleasant ambience.

Cafes hitting all 3 critical spots of great food, excellent service and good value for money are actually quite rare, so we'll be back soon for sure.

Yates' Bakery

Was told by a friend to try them he said they make fantastic butties but you'd never know from the shop front and that's not an insult it's just very low key but when you walk in the selection of food on offer is mouth watering I just fancied a bacon bap which was delicious the bread was so fresh and tasty and I also got a lamb salad and mint sauce kofta after changing my mind from a sticky BBQ sauce and salad baguette I got it for my wife but I was so gutted to find the plastic and paper bag it was wrapped in was soaked at one end and after I carried it from the car into the house it had spilled all the lamb and salad contents along the pavement and I was left with a couple of bits of lettuce and sauce you can imagine the look on my wife's face when she went to open it, after I was found innocent to the theft of the baguettes missing contents an investigation between the shop and home began and quickly the crime scene was established cordoned off and examined it was an horrific scene birds where fighting for the remaining scraps of food and obviously enjoyed it so much they wanted to give a four star review thanks hopefully I'll have better luck next time and I'll be sure to carry it securely for it did look good ?

This place is now called Elsie's and is next door to the old boardwalk. Visited on 22.3.25. Had a full English brekky + mushrooms. My good lady had a small brekky + mushrooms & we shared a pot of tea. Bill came to £16 odd. Food and service was simply brilliant and we will be back at some point as its 20 odd mins from us in Colne. Great place. Thankyou all the staff?❤️

Called into the hustle bar as a group of 6 women of various ages ....1st time Id been into the bar....brilliant place....atmosphere really good....prices of beers good staff ace and music upstairs was really good too so ended up dancing...Rude not to. ?

The Royal Oak Pub

Quaint little pub, glasses clean, seating clean and comfortable. friendly service. Prices are reasonable. Decor is good. Pool table was in good condition. It's just ashame there was no sky tv or food served on the premises. We would definitely revisit.

The Commercial Hotel - JD Wetherspoon

Stuart was amazing. He was the most caring bar staff we have ever encountered, nothing was too much for him. He showed up with a smile and 100% deserves recognition for his hard work. We understand its a difficult job but he showed how even when its difficult people can still be kind and do a brilliant job. He engaged with customers and did an amazing job. We didn't put any stars about eating or atmosphere, this is purely about the staff and how amazing Stuart was. We dont feel the management in the establishment appreciated the staff where deserved.

Went into this chippy today they had a few people in front of me I placed my order which was chips and gravy with a dab i asked the lady for plenty of salt and vinegar which she did and for me perfect ? the dab was a proper old school dab not like you usually get these days it was thick and crispy the chips were lovely and the gravy yummy ? thanks for breaking my diet it was so worth it keep up the good work I'll be back ?

This is the perfect chippy! Everything is so so so delicious and I would recommend anything on the menu. Thankfully I’m just a 2 minute walk away but if you’re willing to drive 10-20 minutes for a chippy I would recommend

Every time without fail the food gets better and better, we must order from here at least 3-5 times a month, we lead such busy lives and find ourselves here more and more, honestly don't care what any other review is on here, if you find yourself in a pinch and looking for something to eat one night give these guys a try they will not disappoint, it gets better with every order, the pizza 5* the donner 5* chips 5* the service 5* these guys are just 5*, get yourself an express pizza and get tucked in best pizza/burger takeout in accrington and i would dare to say in most of the northwest.
