I'm a few days late with this feedback. I visited the Acorn with my sister early this week. I had previously visited and ate here before and had a lovely meal. So this time I had the mega mix grill which was awesome and my sister had the baked potatoes with prawn, which she thoroughly enjoyed too.So thank you Nathan for great service and the welcome, also thank you Hannah chef for the great food. Will definitely visit again soon.

Today's lunch was a delightful experience with mouthwatering dishes. The staff's warmth and assistance added to the pleasant atmosphere. Sian's culinary skills shone through, and Beth's attentive service made the meal even more enjoyable. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Brilliant Service from Beth and Sian in the kitchen! So patient with my challenging 9 year old daughter, who wanted to push mums buttons that day and Sian was just brilliant when it came to the food having a fuss pot who didn't want anything touching each other! Thankyou so much for your patience, great service and good value for money! Can't wait to return

A good setting with extremely friendly staff. There was a good selection of food at fare prices. An ample drinks selection. Plenty of seating available both inside and outside in the beer garden

The best place around for watching the footy and we even joined in with the quiz before! Amazing events for the children too, the dinosaurs were fabulous ? Breakfast is to die for and all the staff are polite and attentive, nothing is too much trouble! Highly recommend Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had we known that there was some kind of a quiz taking place on the evening we decided to use some 30% off meals vouchers, we would have stayed away. A woman was booming out questions to teams who had to answer them on their smart phones - nothing wrong with that if it floats your boat but we were too tired to leave to go elsewhere. We ate a very average meal but realized after we left that the 30% had not been deducted. Either that or the bitter is the most expensive in the north west. It might have been useful to emphasize that the place is 'dog friendly'. Some people are allergic to dogs as well as food. Maybe there is a sign or some kind of notification that dogs are allowed where food is being eaten but I didn't see anything prominently displayed.
