I only popped in for directions but the staff and a local having a pint were very pleasant, seems like a traditional home from home pub, down to earth drinkers pub, no problem with that, better than all these foodie pubs, selling very expensive highly inflated drinks and beers?

Classic pub. Quite small. Bit informal which Ilike. Locals didnt seem to mix with other locals, and saw some lonely people on their own. We didnt see any board games or a bookshelf, there didnt seemed to be anything to do.We didnt see any kids which was great, but apparently this pub accepts kids. It didnt seem to be a kidie place though. Would give it more stars if kids were banned.
