The food was lovely, really tasty. There was a party of 13 people but they forgot one of the meals. The waitress mumbled some apology but there was no apology from the manager. It's a shame because the food was great. The manager is leaving soon so his demeanour was one of we were an inconvenience.

Food was delicious. The barman was lovely. Unfortunately had ran out of Sunday lunches and sausages but the wood we ended up with was really good. The only downside I would say was it was slightly cold and the toilets could have been a little cleaner. But the service and food more than made up for it.

I was here for a funeral, handy as it is opposite the Cemetery and Crematorium. Buffet was okay, beer was well kept.

Very warm and welcoming, great home made chicken pie. Good for family meals, reasonable prices. Would recommend highly. Dog friendly too. Good parking and easy wheelchair access.

The food here was really good, great portion sizes and you definitely get your moneys worth, the burger was huge and looked amazing, proper home cooked food, both enjoyed our meals, would definitely return here again, friendly welcoming service

Well, where do I begin! Every aspect of our visit from booking to end was just superb!They managed to squeeze us in for a last minute party booking on the back end of their Halloween party.We wasn't expecting the room to be perfect knowing they'd finished a kids party half hour before but wow! Perfectly tidy and ready for us.We pre ordered and food was like clock work and devine at that! Everyone was totally satisfied.Customer service was exemplary and they couldn't do enough for us!We loved it that much we are mid booking for Christmas eve!Thankyou for a lovely birthday celebration. Looking forward to coming at Christmas!
