Cosy and friendly atmosphere with a great choice of good quality food and drinks. Can fully recommend the Lancashire hotpot, cottage pie, and steak sandwich. Huge amount of parking round the back of the pub. Bottles of wine start at £20. Overall, great value for money.

Just got home from being in the plough at eaves today. We ordered the steak and ale pie and the mixed grill and I have to say that's the nicest food we have had in along time! Lovely service, nice staff, amazing food, amazing atmosphere. It was just as nice as I remember it years ago. Keep up the good work and thanks. We will see you again very soon ❤️

My family and I came on Friday for lunch and had a fantastic experience start to finish. The chap who served us was so friendly and personable. He brought over iced water for my dog as well as a little cup of dog treats, so it's safe to say he had me sold within the first five minutes! Then the meal we went on to have was delicious and the service was attentive. My dad was so impressed he left a positive review as soon as he got home. Thanks very much team. We'll definitely be back again soon.

Had a lovely lunch here, good choice on the menu and great food. Nice cosy atmosphere with log fire and Country pub decor.

Called in at lunchtime on the off-chance and enjoyed our visit. Reasonable prices, great menu. Decent ale selection too. Was quiet which is how we like it these days. Lovely outdoor smell of a real fire burning inside which is just the ticket on a nippy day. Great friendly service and we'll defently be calling again. A little bit in the sticks and out of the way but once you've got your eye in, no issues. There's a building site just a short distance away so be careful on that country lane! We nearly came a cropper to a lorry who clearly thought height is might!

Fantastic Sunday lunch and a good choice of alternative for those not wanting traditional, very friendly and helpful staff.

My friend and I visited for a meal on a busy xmas Saturday night last weekend and although we had pre-booked there was a mix up and we weren't in the system. After sorting us a spot in the restaurant the manager (Michael) went above and beyond to look after us and we had a lovely meal and a great night. Even though they were busy he went out of his way to ensure we got what we wanted from the menu. All our food was hot and delicious, and the chef made me a fresh gluten free meal which was much appreciated (lamb shank - very yummy!). We will definitely be back and again thanks to Michael and the team for looking after us :)

Finally paid a visit since the refurb, pleasant & warm welcome. We both had the pie option & it was delicious, lovely table by the fire & the atmosphere around the bar seemed lovely. The decor & ambience is exactly what’s needed around these villages. Well done to you.

Food is absolutely amazing!! Brilliant visit to the Plough! Highly recommend the Tempura King Prawns, the sweetcorn fritters and the mixed grill. Every bit of them was delicious! Lisa was lovely and really attentive. Can’t recommend the Plough enough!
