We always come to C&G for breakfast/brunch probably every other week. I have never seen the venue so busy when we came in today and it’s so lovely to see because it always hits the mark every time we go and it definitely did today without a doubt. Props to the staff because they were honestly so rushed off their feet but they all did amazing. Only one slight slip up with payment but they sorted it without question. A sign of great venue is that even when it’s so busy the standard is the same every single time. See you all soon ?

Saw lots of posters around town so decided to give it a try, and definitely wont be coming back as the service was poor. I ordered a fish and chips with gravy but the chips were soggy and gravy wasn’t even thick! the texture was like water, took another 15 minutes for the food to be done again.

Lovely place. Very clean, staff are really nice and friendly. Large menu of food and drinks. Reasonable prices. Toilets available, also very clean. Also loads of info on upcoming shows and music. 5***** recommended.

Called in last Thursday for lunch to see what all the hype was but left disappointed by the food I ordered(eggs Royale)... it arrived absolutely drowned in very watery hollandaise sauce ... muffins barely toasted and the whole thing stone cold! Staff ignored me so I simply left and will not be reccomending or returning. Not sure what happened that day as people have said it was a good place to eat? ?
Excellent quality breakfast. You can tell they don't buy cheap ingredients. Very good service and reasonable prices too.

A lovely and nice small place to have brunch in Blackburn. Staff are very friendly, food is delicious and cheap. A Lancashire full breakfast with a cup of flat white just £12, I think I will come back to here when I next time visit Blackburn.

There were 19 of us in our group. The staff were brilliant and really looked after us well. The food was excellent and served efficiently to the entire group. The system for paying was also very efficient (this isn't always the case in other places!). On that note the food was also very reasonable, especially for the quality. The entire experience was super for us. We would highly recommend Checks and Greys. Thank you to the team working on 30th December.
