Awesome chippy, first time I've been, mate at work said it was the best and he ain't wrong... That was so good, thanks...The seating/eating/dining area looks ace too, might try that next..

Expensive but so is everywhere else and it's better to pay that little extra for guaranteed quality ?

Had fish and chips a couple of weeks ago and was outstanding .Went tonight and ordered 2 large fish. The fish was way overcooked - the fish was dry as a bone - ended up in the bin.Such a stark contrast to the experience only a couple of weeks ago which was great.UPDATEGot response from Dan re the initial post which was very positive. On that basis I have updated my review. The food on previous occasions has been very good - so putting this down to a blip. Consistency is key in hospitality. Its a great chippy

Great fish & chips as always. We get the bus pass special which is brilliant value. Nicely busy on a frosty evening. Plenty of chatter and friendly service. Can't beat it

My local chippy. Never a disappointment. A typical traditional Northern chippy with great fish and chips, an integral dining area. Love itKid-friendliness: Have child meals

Great friendly chippy, always busy . The cafe attached is great if you want to eat in . Lived in Great Harwood for nearly 8 years ,go at least 3 times a month. Always on a Friday for the traditional chippy tea !!Kid-friendliness: They do a kind of kids happy meal . In a box with a drink.

My 1st visit definitely won't be my last best fish and chips I've had, lovely and clean plenty of tables looking forward to going back and trying the rag pudding.

A very popular chippy but worth the trip. Extremely good value, especially for pensioners. Fish and chips, bread and butter and a cup of tea just like it used to be.

Fabulous old fashioned sit in or take away chippy. We love it as does our young daughter. I'm not a big fish lover but these guys serve the best fish I've had, no bones and HUGE!!A must try if you're in the area?
