No 39 was always the go to place on Darwen St.It was consistently the best aroundUnfortunately the food and service we received on 24.02.24 was terrible.The guy taking orders was rude and unhelpful and food was inedible.Really disappointed and following this visit we won’t be returning or recommending this place again.

Ordered 2 hours ago and it's still not here they can't get in touch with the delivery driver it's pathetic my kids are starving I won't bother again p.s. the food came and it wasn't fit for human consumption I would never recommend this place to anyone

A return to the no.39 of old... the hot chilli sauce was just like it was in the 90s; a tasty tangy tomato chilli sauce you just can't get from the bottle. Thank you to whomever took the time to make this classic chilli sauce again.

I accidently ordered my food to preorder 2 hours later instead of asap, however i didn't notice that I had done this. A worker from there phoned me about 2 minutes after placing the order asking me if I had made a mistake. Best customer service I have seen in a long while, always come here, this is my No1 takeaway 5/5.
Appaling Shish kebab!Ordered a regular kebab and this is what was delivered! 6 straggly tiny bits of lamb. They do say it's a small portion but this was miniscule!When i rang to query I was told this is normal as lamb is expensive!!Always been a regular customer but no longer!

Absolutely disgusting and disappointing was supposed to be a large mixed kebab with donner, chicken and lamb, only got what looks like a small kebab the meat was cold, the chips were cold and the garlic bread was full of grease and tastelessNever again! Customer service was abysmal
