Just called in for a swift pint. The landlord definitely takes pride in keeping the lines clean for his beers/ciders etc. Lovely

Service was slow which probably with only 1 person working is excuse beer was good and very good price and helps outside pub how much beer costs.

Bobbed in after a night in Blackburn. The landlord was very pleasant and the pub was clean, so I'd definitely go there again.

The anchor is a great example of a local pub full of character and characters. Great choice of beers and spirits.Bar staff are great.Lots of different rooms, including snooker tables and darts. Regularly visit with my football team.

Very big pub with bags of potential but could do with a good makeover / lick of paint.Beer is good and well priced as well.Basically, if you want a pint with your other half then there's nicer places than this in the area..If you want a pint with your mates, at the right money and you're not bothered about the decor then this is your sort of place. My dad would have called it "a drinkers pub"
