Food was really nice and portions where good sizes. Staff were very friendly. We all had a good time including my little one who loved the slushy drinks and cakes afterwards.

1 booked for the 12th October MONDAY 12TH FOR 6.30PM for 3 people checked on the 8th to make sure that the booking was still OK was told it was still OK gave them my new phone number just in case things changedThe 3 of us came from Blackburn in a taxi to find out the place was closed no prior notice given to me which I found very unsatisfactory as I had given my new phone number in case of any change leaving us with no place to go for something to eat then having to get a taxi back to Blackburn we are very unhappy with the service we got from the Bank restaurant great harwood3 very unhappy would have been visitors making a very different review to what might have beenIT IS NOW 19TH OCTOBER AND STILL NO RESPONSE YET TO MY COMPLAINTNOT VERY GOOD CUSTOMER RELATIONS IT MADE IT WORSE AS I HAD RUNG ON THE 8TH CHECKING THE BOOKING WAS STILL OK GAVE THEM MY NEW PHONE NUMBER JUST IN CASE THINGS CHANGED AND OBVIOUSLY THAT WAS A WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY ?????

Disappointing. The fish was nice but the chips were frozen ones not freshly made. The peas were garden and marrowfat mixed.
