Absolutely brilliant staff are lovely. Went yesterday for my birthday with the girls. Shout out to the really lovely blonde waitress who took our photo. And the nice tall thin guy who didn’t judge us for asking for chicken nuggets for our fussy friend haha. Food absolutely brilliant, came piping hot, ordered chicken satay as a main, incredible the flavour my god I don’t know what that sauce is but I’ll be back haha. Very fast service too, restaurant was full. Saturday night. Chunky chips, yes. Friend ordered chow main, and wings on the side they are not shy with portion sizes but don’t over over do it like a lot of places. Other friend said the squid was really good. Very respectable place, always staff walking about to ask for anything. 10/10 thanks for a good night.

One word. Consistency. There's a reason this restaurant had been here 45+years. The place is clean, modern but with a hardback to the old days with traditional materials. I love the satin walls here- they scream touch me haha. The gorgeous plush blue velvet booths are extremely comfortable. Now for the food. I said consistency because the dishes have always been the same but improved with better high quality ingredients. The menu has expanded and gained a loving following. I had 'seasonal greens' with 'Coriander and schezuan pepper' fried rice. My partner had 3 starters. Pot stickers, Satay Skewers and a wonton soup. A special mention for the soup.. it's never changed in the 15years I've been attending. There's nothing like it. Hand mad wontons and pak choi, highly seasoned. Gosh, I can't convey how good that soup is. My main did lack 'greens'. But I notified the team immediately, and literally one minute later I had lots of wok fried pak choi extra on my plate lol. So even lil errors are rectified. And that highlights their humbleness to please the customer. Excellent customer service. 10/10. We well as ever, be back. Shame I only caught two pics!

So pleased I found this restaurant and managed to book a table as we were visiting Blackpool for the weekend. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and lovely and warm. All the staff were polite but friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The 4 of us the combination starter, we couldn't fault a thing, everything was hot and very tasty. For mains we had special chow main, egg fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return when back in the area. Thank you for a lovely evening.

I cannot praise this restaurant enough. Not only was the aesthetic of the restaurant and general feel of it exquisitely beautiful in our view but the food and the service eclipsed even that. We really walked away with the impression that the staff care very deeply about the customer experience and the food that they produce. They were easy to talk and engage with and they really did make the food presentation a bit more of an experience rather than just putting the plates flat on the table and walking off. We had gone in the day before as my research showed that it was one of the top places providing gluten free options but the restaurant was full. I asked if they had any idea of other places that had a good gluten free menu. When we walked in the door the second time after booking over the phone earlier that evening, the staff member I had spoken to recognised me from the night before so when we sat down and were given menus, he had included the gluten free and allergen menu folder for me to look at without my having to ask for it. So, to the food. There are so many options available that are gluten free and milk free which is what I need as I have intolerances to both these things and honestly, I felt spoiled for choice because I'm used to not having many options. They had adaptations in place for certain dishes to make them suitable for my dietary requirements. My husband and I had the aromatic crispy duck which looks expensive for a starter but the price is very much consistent with how much this item costs from a restaurant. The woman came out with literally a whole leg worth of duck and did what was needed to prepare it to be suitable for pancakes (for my husband) along with a colander of very fresh looking and feeling lettuce in place of wraps for myself. The duck was gorgeous, very tender and crispy in the right places and thoroughly enjoyable. For main, my husband ordered the chicken chow mein and I ordered the salt and chilli tofu (the name of the dish escapes me right now but it does say salt and chilli beside the name on the menu) and honestly, I don't think I will be able to have salt and chilli tofu anywhere else because it was unbelievably good at this restaurant. I honestly could have eaten it all over again as soon as I'd finished it and the rice was so soft and so tasty. They add on a service charge of 10% but it is optional for groups under 6 people I believe however, we absolutely had no problem paying it because the service was so good and the staff were all so accommodating and as I mentioned earlier seemed to be personally invested in our experience being a good one. Regardless of if you do or do not have any specific dietary requirements, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough but do book in advance to make sure that you can get in.
